PIDGIN NO BURN OUT!

Tiredness! wahala wey dey
tire person, and dat feeling wey person dey feel say e too much, na sign say
burnout dey. Burnout na work palava wey World Health Organization talk say no
be sickness, but something wey fit happen for work place. Wetin fit show say
person get burnout na:
- Taya: E be like say person
no get energy again.
- Lost interest: Person go
dey feel say e no wan do anything or e dey vex for work/life.
- No fit do better: E go be
like say person no dey perform well or achieve wetin e suppose to.
Burnout fit happen to
anybody at anytime. Nobody dey exempt, especially if person dey do things wey
dey cause burnout. God talk say make we rest for Exodus 20:8-10 and e show us
example after creation as e rest for seventh day (even though we sabi say God
no need rest), to show us how to rest and recharge our body and spirit. If we
ignore rest, burnout go catch us. You dey among people wey think say dem no
need rest? Abeg, you need am, if you no want burn out.
Na why Jesus call all of us
wey don taya for Matthew 11:28-30, “Make una come to me, una wey dey taya and
carry heavy load, I go give una rest.” E promise us peace for our heart when
life dey choke us, that na wetin dey happen because of wahala and storm wey
life get.
Wetin dey cause burnout? E
dey happen if we no dey handle stress well or na because wahala too much for
work or house. If work dey too plenty, no support, plenty pressure and wahala
for office, na recipe for burnout. You sabi am? E fit be wetin dey happen for
your life now. If you no want burn out — you must rest!
Try know wetin dey work or
dey tire you, wetin dey cause stress, and run from am. We suppose dey throw our
wahala give God as 1 Peter 5:7 talk, because e care for us, and prayer suppose
be our lifeline anytime burnout dey — make we dey release our stress give am.
Dey look for beta Beta thing wey go help reduce wahala, and sometimes just
shutdown or go chill so that body fit cool.
Take time to waka alone, as
Mark 6:31 talk. Even Jesus tell him disciples make dem comot from crowd go
rest. You no fit dey crowd, dey do everything, and still dey okay. You suppose
find time comot, cool body. Crowd fit be family too (yes, sometimes rest from
pikin, husband, and wife dey important make person fit find imself for God). E
fit even be work, so holiday and annual leave dey necessary. Dem fit help
refocus and recharge you for beta work. Crowd fit be anything wey dey stress
you.
You no fit sustain yourself,
na God fit do am, Nehemiah 8:10 talk am. True strength, na God dey give, Isaiah
40:29-31 “E dey give strength to person wey don tire.” If our own energy
finish, na God go renew am. Trusting God go help us not to fall. Philippians
4:13 talk say we fit do everything, but na through Christ wey dey give
strength.
How you fit sabi say you don
dey burnout? If you dey experience or feel these things, time don reach make
you pause and relax:
- Body taya and sickness dey
show
- Spirit taya, hopeless dey
catch you
- You dey vex quick, nothing
sweet you again
- You no fit focus or na
brain dey freeze
- You dey run from wahala,
friend and family
Burnout dey affect how we
dey reason, do work, and relate with people; na better thing if person quick
catch am to stop am make e no turn bigger wahala. If you wan avoid am or quick
comot from stress and burnout, make you join better group — church, ministry,
friend group, neighbours, because people fit support and help as Galatians 6:2
talk, because if person dey alone, e dey worse burnout.
Bible talk say rest no be
option — na spiritual obedience. E call us make we trust God, dey rest, dey
pray, and join community. Burnout na sign say make person slow down and follow
God rhythm for life.

PRAYER: Papa God, I dey come
before you as person wey don taya and dey chook for wahala. I confess say I dey
carry too much for head. I need your strength and peace, teach me to rest for
your side and trust you with my time. Renew my mind, refresh my spirit, and put
joy back for my body. Help me to take all my wahala give you, in Jesus name I
pray. Amen.
