E get anybody wey no get any kind debt? Debt plenty: money, kindness, even time—everybody owe person something. Creditor go always find way collect e money—call, send letter, or show face make you “pay up.”

If dem call and money no dey, sometimes na beg we dey beg for more time, ask make dem forgive us or cancel am, or use one way pay am wey no too straight.

Na wetin Jesus do for cross be the main message—He pay everything! No part payment, no instalment, no “I go pay later,” no IOU. Jesus pay the debt finish.

The debt wey Jesus dey talk na the one wey the world owe God—physical and spiritual debt wey affect anybody wey no accept God way. Everybody born inside debt—no be only money matter, na spiritual wahala. Sin mean say for spirit level, we dey owe, and we no fit pay by ourselves.

Colossians 2:13–14 talk am clear: "When you dey dead for your sin, God make you get life with Christ. E forgive all our sin, cancel the wahala wey we dey owe, wey dey against us. E take am go cross, hammer am put there."

Abeg, imagine person come meet you say, "Your debt don pay finish. You no need pay back, just collect am free." Every day, Bible dey talk say our bill don clear, we no need work to pay am, just accept wetin Jesus do for cross. Accept the “paid in full” card and waka free. Wetin Jesus mean when e talk “It is finished”?

E mean say e pain don finish? 

E mean say the price wey e pay for our salvation na half, say e go still suffer for the grave? No! Jesus declare am, “Paid in full.” 

E need suffer for spirit again before e complete am? No!

Picture criminal wey dey face big sentence or death, judge come down, swap place, criminal go free, judge serve the sentence—Sentence paid finish.

Wetin pay your salvation? 

Na the flogging for Pilate side? 

Na the nail for hand and leg? 

Na the crown for head? 

Na wetin?

All the suffer wey Christ go through get reason, e fulfill law, bring healing, but na only the blood wey flow from Jesus dey wash sin finish.

When Jesus talk “It is finished,” e mean say redemption price don pay sharp-sharp. E suffer, give up e life willingly—the price for everybody don paid finish, once for all time. Our sin debt don pay finish by the blood of Jesus, Paid in full!
