Medicine! Today, dem get millions of medicine for different sickness, but nothing pass the medicine wey God dey give. If you dey use any medicine, wey you dey take for different time, you fit ask: doctors and medicine bad? No! Na God create everything—including doctors and the ingredient wey dem dey use for drugs. But as society don change now, medicine dey expensive and only those wey get plenty money fit afford am.

For this our time, believers need to waka by faith and not only by sight according to 2 Corinthians 5:7. No depend only on medicine wey man make to dey well; always remember say God dey work behind the scene.

When you sick, wetin be the first thing wey go enter your mind? Na to see doctor, right? But why you no think to talk to God first? Nothing dey wrong to see doctor—na good thing so you fit know your body well, and sabi how to pray. Doctors and drugs na real blessing from God. Even Luke wey follow Jesus, na doctor.

But make we no put doctors and medicine for the place wey God suppose dey. No expect miracle from medicine or doctor if God never dey involved.

Jeremiah 8:22 ask, "No be medicine dey Gilead? No be physician dey there? Why healing never reach my people?" The wahala be say, dem dey run to wrong spiritual doctors—preferring lie prophets to God Word. God’s Word na the real medicine wey we need, everyday, for correct health.

This world no straight, and many things fit give us sickness; but remember Isaiah 53:5 "by His stripes, we don heal." That healing don ready before we even sick—if we dey take correct dosage of God’s Word with faith.

God’s Word dey work exactly as e take promise!

As Christians, na this time we suppose believe and show the power wey dey inside God’s Word. Yes, doctor important, but make that one no fit replace the Word and blood of Jesus.

God give us leaf for medicine wey fit heal nations as Revelation 22:2 talk and He use fig ointment for healing for 2 Kings 20:7. He provide natural remedies join, but people still dey pay plenty money to get better.

From Jesus ministry, we see say healing no bad; na right of everybody, especially believers. Luke for Colossians 4:14, wey be doctor, help treat people with medicine plus the Word.

Make we take care of our health. Use medicine wey doctor prescribe, but no neglect the Word and Spirit wey dey heal without side effect. To dey take correct dose of God’s Word everyday, fit save you plenty money. God na Healer, doctors just collect fee; na God hand truly dey heal according to Job 5:18.

- Who you dey go to first when you sick—God, or doctor? 

- How fit you make sure say Word of God dey part of your daily health routine? 

- You dey trust more in medicine than in God ability to heal? 

- How you fit balance getting medical treatment and trusting God for healing?

PRAYER:  Lord, my healer, abeg help me make I depend on you for my healing, as you promise say healing na my bread and portion. Help me dey chew the correct dose of your word every day, in Jesus name, Amen.
