CHILD-FRIENDLY IMAGINE!
1 Corinthians 8:2 (NIV) “Those who think they know something do not yet know as they ought to know.”
MEMORY VERSE - Ephesians
3:20: “God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine…”
What Is Imagination?
Imagination is when you use
your mind to picture something—even if it hasn’t happened yet! It helps you
dream, plan, and believe. God gave us imagination so we can think big and trust
Him for amazing things.
Imagine These Bible Moments!
- Imagine if Noah didn’t
build the ark. What would’ve happened to the animals?
- Imagine if Abraham didn’t
leave his home when God told him to.
- Imagine if Joseph’s
brothers had killed him instead of selling him.
- Imagine if Ruth went back
to Moab and didn’t follow Naomi.
- Imagine if Mary said “No”
to God’s plan.
- Imagine if Jesus didn’t
rise from the dead!
All these stories show how
important it is to trust God and follow His plan—even when we don’t see the
full picture yet.
Why Is Imagination
Important?
- It helps us believe God’s
promises.
- It helps us see ourselves
the way God sees us.
- It helps us pray and dream
big.
- It helps us understand the
Bible in a fun and powerful way!
REFLECTION QUESTIONS
- What is one amazing story
from the Bible that you love to imagine?
- Can you picture yourself
in a Bible story—like walking through the Red Sea or seeing Jesus feed
thousands?
- How does imagining God’s
promises help you believe them more?
- Can you imagine the kind
of person God wants you to be? What do you see?
PRAYER: Lord, help me to
imagine Your Word and believe in the amazing things You can do. In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
Shalom
