PIDGIN THE BREVITY OF LIFE!

Job 5:26 “Just as rice dey wait until den won harvest am, na so too yu go old before yu die.

 

Like everything, life na choice! We fit choose to live! We fit choose to die! We fit choose to enjoy life wey we get or make life komot from us. 

Some people dey live like life don finish. Some dey live like dead people; nothing dey matter for their lives and dem just dey do routine. Dem dey waka and breathe, but na to just exist dem choose without enjoying the beauty and pleasure of life. Dem just dey exist! 

But to "come to full age" mean say we no suppose just dey exist, but make we live life fully. E mean say make we live life complete and mature, as God time and purpose be. Like how corn go ripe fully before dem harvest am, so life wey person live suppose be complete spiritually, mentally, and physically before dem waka go presence of God. 

You don ever tire or dey bored for life so tay you won give up? Many people don choose death pass life because life pain. But God dey call us to live life fully with hope and joy. 

Death no fit comot, but we go live life fully to finish our God work, enjoy life, do wetin God give us to do, and leave the world at the right time and way. 

Proverbs 20:29 talk say, "The beauty of young men na their strength, but the glory of old men na their grey hair." Age no be number only—your mind, your spirit, and your body maturity dey count too. While young people dey try hold youth or grow up quick, old people want to get youth back, but God get plan for every season of life. 

Dem talk say age na only number. Your number of age no mean say your mind or body dey the same. 

Psalm 91:16 promise say God go satisfy us with long life, but many people dey waste life just dey exist, no dey live well. Many people dey say, "I go live fully when I reach that goal or age." Life dey fast, so we sabi choose to live well every day now. 

Length of days wey God promise for people wey fear am get peace, hope, and prosperity wey only God fit give. Some people dey fear life; when dem dey retire or old, dem stop to live fully, dem dey miss God blessing of full and happy life as Psalm 90:10 talk. 

Isaiah 46:3-4 talk say God go always hold us from when we born reach we old, God no go ever leave or forsake us. Life na gift! Jesus talk say Him come give us life full, both for earth and for heaven according to John 10:10. 

"Life begin for forty" dey true for some side—Moses start God work at eighty, but before that Moses live life fully. Na so we suppose do too. 

Life no suppose just happen, life suppose to be lived well. Life too short to just gree make e happen like that. No make life wahala or anybody misdirect you life. Life short! Make you enjoy by living am! 

Make your life count. 

Live to glorify God.

- Wetin be the choices wey you dey make today about how you dey live your life fully? 

- You don ever feel bored or stuck for life? Wetin help you to dey enjoy life again? 

- How you balance to wait for future goals and still dey happy for now? 

- Wetin e mean for you to live "to full age" spiritually and physically? 

- How God promise fit help you enjoy all the seasons of life well? 

PRAYER: Lord God, I thank You for the gift of life and the promise of fullness and satisfaction in You. Help me choose every single day to live fully and happily, no be just to dey exist. Make my life bring glory to You for everything I do. For Jesus name, Amen.
