CHILD-FRIENDLY ELISHEBA!
Exodus 6:23 – “Aaron married Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab and sister of Nahshon, and she gave birth to Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.”
Have you ever heard of
Elisheba? She’s a special woman in the Bible who many people don’t know about.
But she was very important! Elisheba was married to Aaron, the brother of
Moses. She was the mother of four sons, and one of them—Eleazar—became a great
priest who served God.
Why Is Elisheba Special?
Elisheba didn’t try to be
famous. She didn’t stand in the spotlight. But she raised children who were
part of God’s plan. Even though two of her sons made bad choices, one of them
followed God and became a leader.
Elisheba reminds us that
mothers and caregivers are heroes—even when no one sees what they do. She
helped shape her children with love and faith.
What Can We Learn from
Elisheba?
- You don’t have to be
famous to be important to God.
- What you do behind the
scenes matters!
- God sees your love, your
prayers, and your hard work.
- You can help others grow
strong in faith—just like Elisheba did.
Are You Like Elisheba?
Maybe you help take care of
your brothers, sisters, or friends. Maybe you pray for your family. Maybe
you’re learning to follow God and help others do the same. That’s what makes
you special—just like Elisheba!
MEMORY VERSE: Proverbs 22:6 “Teach
a child to choose the right path, and when he is older, he will remain upon it.
