CHILD FRIENDLY STAND FIRM!
Memory verse: 1 Corinthians 16:13 “Be alert and on your guard; stand firm in your faith. Be brave and strong!”
What does it mean to stand
firm?
Standing firm means not
giving up, even when things get hard. It means trusting God and holding on to
His promise, no matter what happens around you. Like a tree with deep roots, we
need to be strong in our faith so we don’t fall over when the wind blows!
Who helps us stand
firm?
Jesus is our solid rock—He’s
strong, safe, and never changes. When we trust Him, we’re standing on something
that can never break. The Bible says in Daniel 11:33 that people who know God
will be strong and do great things!
Why do we need to stand
firm? Because life isn’t always easy. We might face:
- Problems at school
- Arguments with friends
- Feeling sad or scared
- Big changes in our family
But when we stand firm in
Jesus, we don’t have to be afraid. He gives us strength, peace, and hope.
How can we stand firm?
- Read the Bible to know
God’s promises
- Pray and talk to God every
day
- Listen to the Holy Spirit
for guidance
- Trust Jesus even when
things don’t make sense
Bible Reminders
- Matthew 24:24 – Be careful
of people who try to trick you. Stay close to Jesus!
- Ephesians 3:16 – God gives
us strength inside through His Spirit.
- 2 Corinthians 1:20 – God’s
promises are always true in Jesus.
- Isaiah 50:7 – Keep your
eyes on Jesus and don’t look away.
