CHILD-FRIENDLY WHEN SATAN COMES KNOCKING!
Psalm 86:7 – “When I am in trouble, I call to you because you answer me.”
Sometimes, life gets hard.
We feel scared, sad, or confused. But guess what? The Bible tells us that when
trouble comes, we should pray. Not “if” we pray—but when we pray. That means
God wants us to talk to Him every time we face a problem.
What Does It Mean When Satan
Comes Knocking?
It means the enemy is trying
to:
- Make us afraid
- Tell us lies
- Make us forget God’s
promises
But we don’t have to be
afraid! We can pray, stand strong, and trust God to help us.
What the Bible Says:
- Psalm 50:15 – “Call on me
in the day of trouble; I will deliver you.”
- Psalm 34:6 – “This poor
man called, and the Lord heard him.”
- Ephesians 6:12 – We are
fighting against evil, not people.
- 2 Corinthians 12:9 – God’s
grace is enough for us.
- 1 Corinthians 15:58 –
Stand firm and don’t give up.
- 1 Peter 2:9 – You are
God’s special child!
- Jeremiah 29:11 – God has
good plans for you.
- 1 Corinthians 10:13 – God
will help you through every hard time.
What Should We Do?
- Pray right away
- Speak God’s Word out loud
- Tell the enemy to go away
in Jesus’ name
- Remember that Jesus
already won the battle!
REFLECTION QUESTIONS FOR
KIDS:
- When something bad
happens, do I pray first or try to fix it myself?
- Can I remember a time when
God helped me through something hard?
- How can I use God’s Word
to stand strong when I feel afraid?
PRAYER: Dear Father, thank
You for always being with me. Help me to remember to pray when I’m scared or in
trouble. Thank You for giving me strength and helping me win every battle. I
know that with You, I don’t have to be afraid. Thank You for giving me victory
in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Shalom
