God care about wetin we wear and how we dey dress? Bible no give us strict dress code but e give us example and principles on how we suppose dress as God pikin and ambassador of Christ and heaven. 

1 Peter 3:3 talk say our cloth no suppose just cover skin, no be to style hair fine-fine and to wear plenty jewellery wey go draw attention. Bible talk say make we no value appearance pass wetin dey inside and character. 

Look everywhere, na flesh people dey show! Flesh! flesh! Both men and women dey waka with small or no cloth for fashion matter. This kain thing don even enter church and Christian leaders sef. 

Where the modesty, decency, and correct way to dress go? Women skirt and dress dey short every day. People dey spend money to buy cloth wey no good, call am designer cloth. Some cloth tight and clear sef, you fit see people pores, and some shorts be like underwear. 

Every cloth don become something wey dey show body part. People dey use cloth as “less na better” style, body dey show as normal and acceptable. 

When Adam and Eve sin for Genesis 3:6–7, dem come sabi say dem naked. Shame make dem sew fig leaf cover body. So from start, cloth mean to cover our sin and shame. Now, this shame don commot, people dey waka half naked even. 

If you invite person go see the king, the person go find correct cloth wey king fit wear, but the same person fit waka in front of the Creator for cloth wey tight, clear, and person no fit breathe well. As Christian, we suppose dress modestly, no show body part, and dress correct for where we dey go. 

Adults suppose show example to younger children, but some old people dress worse than children. 

How you dress talk plenty about your character. You no go wear short skirt and top wey show breast go work but you go wear am for church or prayer meeting, Proverbs 7:10 talk say na prostitute she be. 

Cloth wey no humble or correct fit attract bad people wey fit harm person. If you dey dress like that, you fit attract wrong kind of people. 

Unbeliever fit follow any trend or fashion, but Christian woman cloth suppose show Christ, no be worldly cloth wey go talk say she no be Christian. Her cloth no suppose dey all about outside things wey go make men like her only. 

Christian character suppose show for our cloth. World standard no good. Make we no wear cloth wey go make people look us anyhow, whether na cloth wey too small or tight. Make we wear cloth with strength and dignity like Proverbs 31:22 talk. Cloth wey you buy show beauty outside no good, e fit make people and God think wrong thing about you. 

Doctors dey show by their cloth, students get uniform, bride get bridal dress, and many other group get cloth wey show who dem be. You fit show say you be believer by your cloth?

- Wetin modesty mean to you for your cloth and how e show for your daily dress? 

- Wetin your dress dey talk to people, especially small pikin wey dey look you as example? 

- You don ever wear cloth wey fit distract people or spoil your Christian witness?

PRAYER: Papa God, thank You say You create me for Your image and You call me to be Your ambassador on earth. Help me to honour You not only for my mouth and work but also how I dey show myself. Make Your spirit renew my mind and help me choose cloth wey no go make people stumble but go show Your grace and holiness. Cloth me with strength, wisdom, and humility. Make my life and cloth show Your love and righteousness, for Jesus name, amen.
