6Di apostles and di eldas kon whole meetin to tok about di matter. 7Afta dem don argue well-well about di matter, Pita kon stand up sey, “My brodas, una know sey before-before, na mi God choose make e go prish give Gentile pipol make dem hear and bilive en word. 8And God, wey know wetin dey inside pipol mind, don show ensef to dem wen E give dem di Holy Spirit, just as E give us 9and E nor do wayo between wi and dem bikos, E make dia heart klean by faith. 10So why una won kon try God? Load wey wi and awa grand-grand papa dem nor fit karry, why una dey put am for dis disciples head? 11Wi bilive sey God save us thru grace wey kom from Jesus Christ, just as E do for dis Gentile pipol too.”

Dis Bible place na where dem talk about how de apostles no gree about circumcision. Conflict na part of life, and e dey important because e dey show say our relationship strong. To talk am simple, conflict mean when two or more people no gree for something, maybe na interest, goal, their thinking or wetin dem believe. E fit show like fight or something wey dey inside body, especially as e concern our spirit and flesh. God way dey different from human way. Wetin human being think say good fit bad for God eye. As Christians, Bible dey encourage make we try live for peace, as Romans 12:18 talk, but if wahala show, make we handle am like Matthew 18:15 talk.

You no fit always run from wahala; sometimes Bible talk say na way for us to grow for body and spirit so we fit resemble Christ more, no be to just dey comfy. If we use God principle, wahala fit make our relationship and faith strong instead of to scatter us. If person dey run from wahala, e dey encourage lie; if person no dey talk truth in love, e go dey “lie in love” like Ephesians 4:13 talk. Wahala na process wey person fit manage with talk, settle, or any better way. Anybody fit get wahala—even Christians—like we see for this story.

Church that time confuse about how dem go respond as gentiles wan dey serve God—na wahala wey still dey for the church today. Sometimes, na man doctrine we dey push, come forget God own, and na these different opinion dey bring division. Which side you dey follow? You gree or you no gree? Everybody get opinion, and many wahala dey start from there.

Wahala fit turn big problem. But Bible give us example say we fit handle am in godly way: Make our argument get respect, make sense, and aim for solution. To do that, we suppose sabi listen well, as James 1:19 talk, and make e dey easy to settle as we different.

No matter wetin dey cause wahala, try to make sure say e no scatter or divide una. Strong relationship fit survive any wahala if we dey wise. If na our flesh dey push wahala for church, na division go come. But if na Spirit and Bible we use settle wahala, we go fit mend and make better bond. Wahala no bad on e own; wetin matter na how we take handle am. For this Acts 15, na circumcision dey cause wahala. God require am for Jew, but no be for Gentile. No forget, na Jesus be way to salvation, no be circumcision, even wen some people dey talk say without circumcision person no fit get Christ.

Today, church dey do like that—if you no do this or that, you no go fit enter some place or get blessing. Wahala no be wetin Jesus die for. He come for unity, peace, love, joy, hope. All these no dey breed wahala. Wetin dey bring wahala na pride, selfishness, self-center. We fit get wahala wey go bring better solution, connection, and unity for God kingdom. But make we run from any wahala wey dey cause division. Remember, wahala fit destroy or make us grow—make Spirit of God dey inside you well well.

- How honest talk and better listening, as James 1:19 talk, fit help stop wahala from turn to division?

- How Christian fit know when to stand gidigba for matter and when to shift small so peace and unity go dey?

PRAYER: Baba God, thank you for the lesson wey we get from the wahala about circumcision. Abeg help me dey handle any disagreement and difference with humility, truth and love. Make my heart dey find unity, no be division. Make I dey quick to listen, slow to talk or vex. In Jesus name, Amen.
