PIDGIN GOD IS NOT FAR!

Psalm 139:7-10

Sometimes e dey be like say God far from us, especially when we dey expect miracle or change for our life. E go come be like say God just dey silent — we no dey hear, we no dey see, we no dey feel am. But to serve God no be how we dey feel, na wetin we know sure pass. Even if we no dey feel am, we fit still see Him glory and presence around us. God presence dey everywhere, even for dark time or when we think say we far.

Jeremiah 23:23–24 talk say, “I be God wey near, and no be only God wey far,” na the LORD talk. “I no dey fill heaven and earth?” God both near and everywhere; e fill all space.

Even people wey don dey serve God long still dey get that time wey e go be like say God no dey near. Sin, sickness, or life stress dey make person feel far from God. But this Psalm remind us say we no fit ever run away from God. We dey always near am, and He dey always near us. If we no fit hide from am, that mean say He dey close by.

He promise say He no go ever leave us or forget us. No matter where you dey or wetin you dey face, God dey with you. Look Elijah for 1 Kings 19 — e feel abandoned, depressed, say God no dey hear am again. Many of us dey get that same time, wey heaven go quiet and no sign go show. David too get those feelings and cry to God for Psalms. But e still confirm say no matter where we go — heaven or down below — God still dey there. God fit feel far sometimes, but e never ever leave us. 

2 Timothy 2:13 talk say even when we no get faith again, God still remain faithful. Him closeness no depend on how we feel or how faithful we be—He still remain faithful.

He no fit deny Himself; that mean say He go always appear when we need am. Hebrews 13:5 remind us again say He no go ever leave us alone — never! God na our sustainer. E no dey help from distance; e always dey near you. Jeremiah 29:13-14 say if we find am with all our heart, we go see am. Psalm 46:1 remind us say God na our refuge and strength, always dey present when we need help. Anything we dey face, God dey feel am too. Jesus don pass through everything we dey face now, so He understand us well. Make nothing pull you comot from His presence. 

David for Psalm 51:11 no beg for throne or money; he beg make God presence no comot from am. That na wetin we too suppose dey hunger for — God presence. Because He never dey far. E no dey change. Wetin fit separate us from God? Sin, death, or disconnection from Him word. But Romans 8:38-39 talk clear say nothing fit separate us from God love. Even when things dey make am look like say God far, He still dey right there with you.

If you dey feel say God far from you, just remember — na you fit shift, God never move. Make your prayer today be thanksgiving for that bond we no suppose take play. Not even sin, death, or wahala fit cut us off from His love.
