PIDGIN KNOW YOUR ENEMY!

Numbers 13:18 “and si wetin di land bi like. Weda di pipol wey dey stay der strong or weak, small or plenty,

You sabi who your enemy be? From Bible side, anybody wey dey block your spiritual work na enemy. To know the kind person wey dey fight you important well-well for planning and spiritual readiness. E dey help us judge wetin dey ahead, especially the strength and number of people wey dey oppose us. Na so e be for the children of Israel wey God promise land.

Their work simple: Go Canaan! Check the land. Understand wetin you dey enter. Plan well-well. But instead make them focus on the work, them dey look wetin them no suppose see and talk words wey them no suppose talk. How about you, na only physical things you dey see? You dey base physical decisions on spiritual things or the other way? Past challenges, disappointments, and mistakes dey cloud your judgment? Earlier experiences dey affect wetin you expect for future?

Know your enemy. When you read the Bible, wetin dey come your mind? When you look around you, wetin dey stand out? You dey lean on your own understanding for spiritual matters like Proverbs 3:5 warn us? With the kind strategic wisdom wey Moses use guide the Israelites to check the land, we suppose think about: understanding the spiritual map of our assignment, enemies and life, then shift our viewpoint from weakness to strength, spot opportunities and potential for the word by the Spirit. The God we worship no dey depend on numbers; He just need one person wey ready and capable. This theme clear for the whole Bible.

David face Goliath all by himself against a whole army. Samson stand by himself against the Philistines. The Book of Judges plenty time when God choosing one person over crowd. We need to think about preparation and understand our position before we enter any fight. Spiritual insight dey help us do things right. Like military operation, we no suppose enter battles without clear strategy.

Our faith must rest firm for God Word. We must confront our fears, as 1 Peter 5:8 advise, make we stay alert to the enemy and ready to run. Through the Holy Spirit, we go come dey unstoppable. Make your mindset focus on faith instead of fear.

Wetin you dey face? The Scripture remind us for Ephesians 6:12, say we no dey wrestle against flesh and blood, but against unseen forces of darkness. Our true enemy no be people, but spiritual forces wey dey work behind the scenes to block our progress, sow confusion, and challenge our faith. How you fit fight wetin you no fit see or understand with just physical senses? Proverbs 3:5 say we no suppose rely only on our own understanding. We suppose trust God make He guide us for every situation.

Know your enemy. Your enemy no be the brother or sister wey hurt you. The pikin wey no listen. The spouse wey no meet your expectations. The sibling wey turn away from you. That friend or mentor wey disappoint you. In short, your enemy no be physical person; na the spirits or demons wey dey cause confusion for your life. When you dey face personal challenges, just like the Israelites, we need to assess our problems, acknowledge the authority and power wey we get for spiritual realm and rely on the power of Jesus' name to overcome fear.

Trust God completely make He prepare you for the next steps. But through discernment to recognize our enemies, wey go equip us to tackle temptations, injustices, and struggles. We get power to overcome the enemy, break the chains of discouragement and replace fear with faith as we stand strong on God Word. Make God Word fill you with strength, wisdom, and discernment to recognize and conquer your enemy.
