CHILD-FRIENDLY BE IT UNTO ME ACCORDING TO THY WORD!
Luke 1:38 “Mary said, ‘Be it unto me according to Your Word.’ That means she agreed with what God said about her!
We should do the same. Sometimes we say things we feel or hear from others, but
God wants us to speak His Word.
The Bible says in Hebrews 4:12 that God’s Word is powerful like a sword. When
we speak it, it works!
Think about this: If you plant a seed, you expect it to grow. God’s Word is
like a seed. When you speak it, you plant it in your life, and it grows into
blessings!
Example: If you feel afraid, instead of saying ‘I’m scared,’ say what God says:
‘God has not given me a spirit of fear’ (2 Timothy 1:7).
When you speak God’s Word, you agree with Him. That’s what Mary did. She didn’t
argue or complain. She said YES to God’s plan.
So, kids, let’s learn to speak what God says about us, not what fear or
feelings say. Agree with God’s Word and you will see His promises come true!
Practical Tips:
- Read your Bible every day and find promises you can speak.
- When you feel sad, speak joy: ‘The joy of the Lord is my strength.’
- When you feel weak, speak strength: ‘I can do all things through Christ.’
MEMORY VERSE:Luke 1:38 – ‘Be it unto me according to thy word.’
