CHILD FRIENDLY WIND OF CHANGE!

John 3:8 “The wind blows wherever it wants. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So, it is with everyone born of the Spirit.

 

Have you ever felt the wind blow? You can feel it and see what it does, but you don’t know where it comes from or where it goes. Jesus said the Holy Spirit is like the wind—powerful and invisible, but we can see what He does in our lives!

When the wind of God blows, amazing things happen:

·       Problems go away

·       Lives are changed

·       Blessings come

The Bible says the Holy Spirit moved like wind in Genesis 1:2 when God created the world. In Acts 2, the Holy Spirit came like a mighty wind to the disciples.

There are different winds in the Bible:

North wind brings growth (Song of Solomon 4:16)

South wind brings comfort (Job 37:17)

West wind cleared Egypt of locusts (Exodus 10:19)

Whirlwind showed God’s power (Job 38:1) and took Elijah to heaven (2 Kings 2:11)

God uses His wind to bring change—to help us, bless us, and make us new. Just like we can’t control the wind, we can’t control the Holy Spirit, but we can ask Him to blow in our lives and bring the change we need.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

1.  When have you felt God helping you like the wind?

2.  What part of your life needs God’s wind of change?

3.  How can you ask the Holy Spirit to help you every day?

4.  What should you do when bad winds (problems) try to blow you away?

PRAYER: Dear God, thank You for the wind of Your Spirit. Please blow over my life and bring blessings, peace, and change. Help me to stay close to You every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
