MADE FOR A PURPOSE

2 Timothy 1:9 TLB “Na Him save us and choose us for Him holy work, no be because we deserve am, but because na so Him plan be since before world start—to take show Him love and kindness to us through Christ.

 

You dey ask, “I dey made for purpose so?” Wetin God make me for? You sabi why God make you as you be? 

Everything for life, including salvation and calling, na God work. Na God save us and call us, no be because of anything we do or earn. 

God create everybody with purpose. 

As God talk, Him call us with holy calling for Him own purpose, even before world begin. This calling holy, e mean say e dey set apart for God own plan and use. 

So wetin be your purpose for this earth? You don discover why you dey here? 

Life fit busy sotay person go forget the reason why e dey run up and down. Many times, we dey pursue achievement and hustle, we no know say we fit dey miss the bigger purpose why God give us life. 

Because God get greater purpose for us, Romans 8:28 talk say everything we dey pass through go later work together for our good as God take use am for Him glory. 

If you dey wonder, just rest your mind say God get purpose for you, and all the purpose wey Him get dey perfect. 

God get better assignment for each of us. 

Every situation for your life God design am specially to match you. Our own work na to accept Him will and allow am make e perfect for our life. 

Inside the plan wey Papa God get for us, as Jeremiah 29:11 talk, we suppose get confidence say the hope and future wey Him promise go bring peace if we waka according to Him purpose. 

Everything and everybody—good or bad—get their own purpose: first, to worship the Lord and give Him glory as Isaiah 43:7 talk. 

Even wicked person self, God fit use am for purpose, as Proverbs 16:4 talk, and as God talk about Pharaoh for Exodus 9:16. 

The reason why God still leave Pharaoh make e live through all the plagues na so that people go see say God get power pass everybody. That one mean say Pharaoh stubbornness and rebellion still fit into God purpose. 

God purpose for your life come before any plan wey you plan for yourself. 

E mean say, as 1 Corinthians 3:13 show, God purpose big pass your own plan and e better and more rewarding. 

See yourself as person wey God appoint to fit special mould. 

For 2 Timothy 2:20, we see say no be everybody God call to dance the same dance or follow the same pattern, so no doubt God purpose for you. Even with all the detours and different junctions for your journey, dem still go later fit inside that mould wey God carve out for your life. 

Many people, even believers, don allow society, situation and people define their purpose, and dem dey waka opposite wetin God plan for them since long time, as Isaiah 25:1 show. 

God design you to be “square,” but because of wetin people expect, you wan turn “round” wey dey try force enter square mould. 

Enemy dey use lies deceive us say wetin we dey do and who we be no really matter. But e matter well well! 

Psalm 144:11 show say God fit rescue us and put us back for road of Him divine purpose even when e no clear say na Him dey lead us. Make you dey sure for mind say God arrange you to dey where you dey now—whether na work, your area, school, family, or marriage—all of them join for inside Him bigger purpose. 

God purpose come first! 

God get specific purpose for each of us. That purpose don already plan before time start, e show say God plan for you eternal and intentional, no dey depend on your effort. No be according to our works. 

We no fit earn salvation or our calling through good works. Na by grace everything dey. 

God greater purpose suppose dey centre of our mind if we no want reach end of life come realize say we no really fit or fulfil the purpose wey God give us for this earth. You dey fit for purpose.

- How e take change the way you dey see your daily activities if you know say your calling holy and set apart for God? 

- Wetin be the steps you fit take to align your life with God purpose instead of society expectations? 

- For which way circumstances or people don try change or redefine your purpose, and how you take handle am? 

- If today na the end of your life, you go talk say you don fulfil God purpose? Why or why not? 

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You say You create me with intention and You call me into holy purpose before foundation of the world. I recognize say my life no be mistake, and Your plans for me good, perfect and eternal through Christ Jesus, amen.
