PIDGIN STINKY THINKER!

Romans 12:2 “Make una nor bi like pipol for di world, but make una allow God shange una mind, den una go know how to serve God and do tins wey dey make belle sweet am.”

 

Plenty of us dey lock ourselves for situation wey our own imagination create because of the kind mindset we carry. Na so stinky thinker dey operate! 

As we think, na so we dey act. As we act, na so we dey talk. But many of the things we dey talk no follow wetin Bible talk. God word for Joshua 1:7–9 don tell us make we dey meditate on the Word day and night. As we dey meditate, e go begin do wetin our text talk — renew our mind. 

Philippians 2:5 say make the mind wey dey inside Christ Jesus also dey inside us. If we follow these three levels — meditate the Word, let Christ mind dey rule us, and focus on the things above — our mindset no go dey ground level again, e go dey kingdom level. Colossians 3:2 tell us make we set our mind for heavenly and spiritual matters. 

Make we believe every part of Bible, no be some parts. No dey disqualify wetin God talk just because e no sweet you. That one na stinky thinking. 

God dey carry us go through process to build character, sense, and spiritual muscle. Inside the process, He dey give us wisdom. James 1:5 talk say if person no get wisdom, make he ask the Father wey get wisdom plenty. Na wisdom we need to collect those things wey never show for our hand physically. 

But many believers don turn to prayer beggars — begging up and down. That one na stinky thinking. What we suppose dey do na to make declaration. 

Job 22:28 talk say, “You go decree a thing, and e go be established.” That means na God go establish am, but you must first speak am out. Once you don declare am, heaven go back you up and bring am to pass. 

We dey also talk about seed. Seed na the beginning of any harvest. If no seed enter ground, no harvest go come out. Many people wan enjoy harvest, but dem never plant seed. So you gats ask yourself — wetin you dey talk, wetin you dey think, and wetin you dey project? Because all these things matter well-well. 

When you sick, talk the Word of healing wey God don already talk for Bible. Declare am on top yourself. Isaiah 53:5 don already talk say by the stripes of Jesus, we don heal. Na “don heal”, no be “go heal”. Make you dey use that Word take claim your healing. 

When you need something, ask God for direction. Isaiah 30:21 talk say you go hear a voice wey go show you the road to follow. But as you hear, quick obey. No let fear or plenty reasoning stop you. Sometimes your mind go dey argue, “How e go take work? What if nobody listen?” My brother, my sister — who care? Just do wetin God talk and thank Him. 

Look Jesus example — every time, He dey thank God for provision. No be because He no fit do miracle Himself, but to show us example. Remember the story of the five loaves and two fishes? Normally e no fit reach even five people, but Jesus thank God — and e feed thousands finish with leftovers! Why? Gratitude open multiplication. Stinky thinking for that kind moment go just look the problem and stop there. 

2 Corinthians 9:10 talk say God give seed to the sower and bread to the eater. So thank God for seed first, then wait for harvest, then thank Him again when harvest come — e go multiply am again. God na multiplier, He no dey return your seed the same way you give am. He always dey give you more. 

But stinky thinking go make you hold tight onto wetin you get because of fear say you go lose am — but Proverbs 11:24 talk say na so person dey lose truly. 

Overflow na God own principle. Psalm 23:5 say, “You don anoint my head with oil, my cup dey run over.” That means you don anoint to prosper, to dey healthy, and to conquer. Stinky thinking no fit dey your DNA at all. 

We no suppose dey beg God for anything — God no dey use devil tools, and He no fit punish you with wetin Jesus don already pay for. Time don reach make we stop that stinky thinking. Redeem your mind, renew your mindset, meditate on the Word and speak the Word. Stop that stinky idea say God no dey hear you.

- For which area of your life stinky thinking don affect how you dey decide or talk? 

- When God give you instruction, you dey obey quick or you dey allow fear and reasoning block you? Why? 

- You dey spend more time begging God for things or declaring His promise for your life (Job 22:28)? Wetin need change? 

- Which practical step you go take this week to renew your mind and stop stinky thinking? (Colossians 3:2, Philippians 2:5) 

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word wey dey renew my mind and dey transform my life. I reject every stinky thinking wey dey limit me and no follow Your truth. Teach me make I dey boldly declare Your promises and trust Your wisdom for every situation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
