PIDGIN WAITING ON GOD PATIENTLY
Psalm 37:7 “So, make yu wait for God with patient! Make yu get mind as yu dey wait am!
Life dey always be like
different waiting rooms—person dey wait for answer, breakthrough or direction.
Waiting dey invite impatience, but Bible remind us say waiting no be wasted
time at all; na holy season wey God dey use work deep for our life, dey shape
our character and make our faith strong.
Waiting hard oh! Nobody
really like to wait, but waiting sure for this life. I dey wait! You dey wait!
Everybody dey wait! for something or person—sometimes patiently, or
impatiently. Waiting no easy at all, but e still be part of life wey we no fit
dodge. Whether na marriage, exam, pikin, work or healing, we dey wait for; and
many times, na how important the thing be, ma em dey make the waiting make
sense.
Hope dey for the middle of
waiting. Romans 4:18 say Abraham believe God even when everything talk say e no
go happen, but God do as Him talk. Psalm 43:5 encourage us make we “put our
hope for God.” Hope pass wishful thinking; na strong expectation wey dey rest
for trust. Na this kind hope dey hold us when situation no clear again.
Patience join for this
matter. Hebrews 10:36 talk say we need patience, and Galatians 5:23 list am as
one of the fruit of the Spirit. Without patience, waiting go turn punishment.
Hope dey push us forward, but patience dey keep us stable and no give up. So,
wetin you dey wait for now? You get patience to wait make God finish Him work?
You no fit rush God plan; you need patience to see am complete.
We must learn how to rest
for the Lord and wait for am. Na only God know the road we dey follow, and Job
23:10 talk say when Him don test us finish, we go come out like gold. This one
mean say if we no wait on God, we fit miss the chance to shine like gold
because we no allow am do all wey Him plan do inside us, for us and through us
during the waiting season.
To wait on God dey show us
how impatient we really be. But as we rest for Him, patience dey grow inside
us. God timing perfect—e no dey early and e no dey late, as 2 Peter 3:9 reveal.
Waiting na law of divine timing; with God, nothing dey happen before time or
after time. As we dey wait, God dey prepare, prune, and shape our character to
ready us for wetin dey ahead, just like Job 23:10 show.
Use this waiting season to
drop unnecessary loads, go deeper inside Scripture and align your heart with
God will. Many times, na for waiting period Holy Spirit dey open our eye
pass—Him dey give revelation, understanding and strength wey go equip us for next
level. When you look back later, you go surprise how much God don do inside you
during this same time wey you think say “nothing dey happen.”
So, rest in the Lord. Stop
struggle. Calm down! No dey murmur, vex, or rush enter wrong decisions. Submit
to God will with expectation and trust. Waiting dey teach us how to depend
fully on God and remind us say na Him goodness and mercy dey carry all our
spiritual work. Wait patiently for am, and make your heart dey expect—decide
say you go dey expect God move even as you dey wait.
All our spiritual efforts no
fit go far if no be for God goodness and mercy, so this patient waiting on God
dey train us to depend on Him alone. Waiting no be lazy or empty style of life;
na active posture of faith. When we choose to trust God timing, we position
ourselves to receive the best wey Him prepare for us. Remember: delay no be
denial; na preparation. Hold your hope, guard your patience and watch how God
go turn your waiting to powerful testimony.
Bible full with promise for
people wey wait on the Lord:
- Lamentations 3:25 TLB:
“The Lord wonderfully good to those wey dey wait for am, to those wey dey seek
am.”
- Psalm 27:14 TLB: “No rush
or impatient. Wait for the Lord and Him go come save you. Make your heart
strong, brave and courageous. Yes, wait and Him go help you.”
- Psalm 25:3 AMPC: “Anybody
wey trust You and wait hopefully for You no go shame or disappoint; na the
people wey leave the right way and dey do evil without cause go finally
shame.”
Rest for the Lord and wait
patiently for am.
