Worship na the connection wey dey between God and the human response to Him as King. 

To worship mean to give person or something the full worth wey e deserve. For spiritual matter, worship fit mean our full life of devotion to God — from Bible study, private prayer, to how we dey dedicate our money, time, and resource to serve God. 

But for a shorter sense, worship na when believers gather together on purpose as one body to hear God word and to respond with prayer, praise, and thanksgiving. 

Worship na the human response to how the Almighty God show Himself. Na honour, respect, and deep reverence wey we dey give God Almighty because of who He be. 

Some meanings of worship include: 

1. When God start the connection by showing Himself, His plan, and His will. 

2. When person build spiritual and personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. 

3. When worshiper respond with adoration, humility, submission, and obedience to God. 

4. Worship suppose always be expression of reverence and deep love for God. 

We dey worship God in spirit when, under the power of the Holy Spirit, we carry all our heart, emotions, and desire give God. We dey worship in truth when our mind, reason, and actions for worship dey follow wetin the Word of God talk. 

Sadly, for this generation, worship don turn to show for many people — more about the singer and not God. Many people dey move by feeling and emotion, no be by Spirit. 

Dem don tell us say worship must be done in certain way, but Jesus show us say what really matter na spirit and truth. 

We fit worship God through different ways — we fit bow down, kneel, lie down flat, stretch hand in reverence, or shout with joy — just as Psalm 95:6 invite us, say, “Come, make we bow and worship the Lord.” 

As people wey the Spirit of God dey lead, we must always come before God with awe, reverence, and wonder because He alone dey worthy. We no fit forget say He still be the Mighty King above all things. 

When we come worship the Lord, we dey celebrate am with joy but also with fear and trembling from our heart. We sing with shout and gladness because of who He be, just as 1 Chronicles 16:29 talk. 

Jesus don teach say real worship no be matter of place or time, but matter of relationship. John 4:21–24 show am clearly. Our worship must come from spirit and truth through faith in Jesus Christ, as Philippians 3:3 confirm. 

To worship God in the beauty of holiness mean to live holy life and make every area of our life submit under His rule. Praise and worship na the channel wey carry us into His presence because God dey dwell inside the praises of His people. Psalm 96:9 remind us to worship Him in the beauty of holiness. 

Make the anointing of the Lord fuel our worship. When we worship and praise Him with reverence and humble heart, we dey build atmosphere wey God go feel comfortable to dwell. But God no dey relax where sin, pride, or wicked behavior still dey rule. 

Our worship na to agree say everything about God true. Psalm 29:2 talk say make we give to God the glory wey belong to Him. Even nations wey He create go still come worship and glorify His name, as Psalm 86:9 talk, because one day all the earth go bow before the Creator in the splendor of His majesty. 

Make your worship create atmosphere wey nothing go impossible, where no sickness fit hide, and Jesus presence dey free everything. Worship wey come from clean heart, in spirit and truth, dey open heaven for miracle. 

Come worship and sing new song to the Lord because He great and worthy to be praised. God na Spirit; He dey everywhere, so worship Him everywhere. Worship the Lord!

PRAYER: Father, thank You for showing Yourself to me and calling me into true worship. Help me to worship You in spirit and in truth, with heart full of reverence and humility. Make my worship create the atmosphere where Your presence go dwell in all Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
