CHILD-FRIENDLY RESISTANCE FROM STEPPING INTO PURPOSE!
John 16:33 GNT
I have told you this so that
you will have peace by being united to me. The world will make you suffer. But
be brave! I have defeated the world!"
When God gives you a purpose
or something special to do, it is exciting — but it can also feel hard
sometimes. Jesus said that we would face troubles on earth, but we should not
be afraid because He has already overcome the world. That means we can have peace
even when things feel difficult.
In the Bible, many people
faced problems when they tried to do what God asked:
Moses felt he wasn’t good
enough.
Jeremiah felt too
young.
Nehemiah was laughed
at.
Even Jesus was rejected by
people in His hometown.
So, when we face challenges
or feel discouraged, it doesn’t mean we’re doing something wrong. Sometimes it
means we are doing something very right.
The Bible also teaches that
some resistance is spiritual. Ephesians 6:12 says our battles are not against
people but against spiritual forces. That’s why God gives us His armour —
prayer, faith, truth, and His Word — so we can stand strong.
God never asks us to do
anything alone. He gives us everything we need:
Wisdom to know what to
do
Courage to take steps
Strength when we feel
weak
Grace when things feel hard
Like Paul, who kept going
even through trouble, we can stay strong because God is with us. Hard times do
not break people of purpose — they make them stronger.
When we push forward into
our purpose, the enemy may try to stop us because he sees the greatness inside
us. But we don’t fight for victory — Jesus already won. We fight from victory.

is one brave step you can take this week toward your purpose?
PRAYER: Father, help me stay
strong when things are hard. Give me courage to follow Your purpose for my
life. Remind me that You are with me and that Jesus has already won the
victory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Shalom
