CHILD-FRIENDLY TOGETHER!
Amos 3:3 GNT
Do two people start
traveling together without arranging to meet?
We need to choose the right
friends. You can’t walk with someone who is going in the opposite direction. If
you want to grow in God, it won’t help to stay close to people who don’t want
to grow at all.
Two people can’t walk
together unless they agree. If God is leading you one way, don’t let others
pull you off the path.
Galatians 6:2 says we should
help each other, but that only works when we agree.
God wanted Israel to follow
Him, but sometimes they didn’t listen. When they refused to walk with Him, they
couldn’t stay close to Him. God still loved them, but they had to choose His
way.
Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 says two
people can do more together than alone. But teamwork only works when both
people agree.
This year don’t carry old
problems with you. Don’t follow friends who hold you back. Walk with people who
love God, pray, and want to grow like you do.
God wants to take you
higher—emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually. He has new blessings
and new songs for you (Psalm 40:3). New songs come from new victories.
If God has given you a dream
(Habakkuk 2:2), find people who will help you make it real.
REFLECTION QUESTIONS
- What do I think God wants
me to do this year
- Who can help me grow and
follow God
- How can I make friends who
love God too
PRAYER: Lord, thank You for
this new year. Help me walk with You and choose friends who love You. Guide me,
strengthen me, and let my life bring You glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Shalom
