Bible mention different group and people wey be giant: Nephilim, Anakim, Rephaim, Og king of Bashan and Goliath of Gath. Dem look fearful to people but dem no ever strong pass God power.

Goliath look like person wey nobody fit stop—big, strong and carry dangerous weapon. Him make Israel army fear for forty days. But Goliath na empty giant. Why? Because him stand against the living God. Size and strength mean nothing if God no dey your side.

Wetin empty Giant mean?

Empty giant na anything wey look big and fear person but no get real power against God. E fit be fear, sickness, money wahala, or even people wey seem powerful. Dem look strong, but dem empty because dem no fit spoil God plan.

Wetin make giant empty? Giants represent anything wey big for eye: fear, opposition, sin, demonic oppression or human pride and system wey raise itself against God. Dem look like say power full their body, but dem no get solid foundation because dem stand against God purpose.

When God move, their so‑called greatness go just scatter; Og and the other giant people for Canaan clear commot so that Israel fit enter inherit the land, to show say God fit remove wetin everybody think say nobody fit defeat.

The difference for every giant story na faith—na faith dey empty giants. Joshua and Caleb for Numbers 14:30 believe and talk say, “The Lord dey with us…we go chop them like bread,” but the rest of Israel see themselves like grasshopper. Faith dey shift eye from the size of the problem go the faithfulness of God.

Goliath na example of empty giant: him get armour, e loud, dey intimidate, but spiritually e empty because e insult “the God of the armies of Israel.” David understand say the real matter no be size but who stand with God.

Something big dey look you for face so, like say e wan swallow you? Because of size, influence or authority. No fear! E empty like Goliath and remember say na only shadow you dey see.

David small and no get armour, but e get wetin Goliath no get—God presence and faith. You too get the same thing.

David no fight with him own strength. E trust God finish. Na why the giant fall.

Make up your mind say you no go fear empty giants. Problems fit look big, but dem no get power where God stand, as Proverbs 21:30 show.

Trust God strength as Psalm 33:16 talk, no be your own. Victory dey come from God, no be from size or weapon.

Always use your mouth talk faith, no be fear. David first declare God power before e fight. As Romans 8:31 talk: “If God dey our side, who fit stand against us?”

The Empty Giant dey show how God dey expose the emptiness of anything wey challenge Him rule and how, by faith, believers fit stand strong, move forward and collect wetin Him promise.

No allow empty giants intimidate you this year. Today giants fit be addiction, generational pattern, fearful people, wicked systems or inner voice wey dey condemn you and look bigger than obedience. For Christ, these powers don already lose weapon for cross, even if dem still dey shout for some time.

- How I fit talk like David, talk faith, when challenge stand for my front? 

PRAYER: Lord, thank You say no giant fit stand against You. Help me to trust Your power and no fear wetin just dey look big. Teach me to speak faith and to waka in victory every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
