PIDGIN SUCH A TIME AS THIS!
Esther 4:1–14
Wen Mordekai hear evritin wey dey happen, e
tear en klot kon wear sak, pak ashes for en head; den e go di town centre kon
dey kry. 2But e nor waka pass di king gate: bikos nobody wey wear sak klot go
fit pass der. 3And for evry aria where dem for read dis law, Jew pipol wey dey
der, dey kry, fast, wear sak klot kon pak ashes for dia head.
4Wen Estha savants tell am
wetin dey happen, e vex well-well kon sey make dem go remove Mordekai sak klot
kon wear am betta klot, but Mordekai nor gri. 5Den Estha koll Hatak, one offisa
for di palis wey di king sey make e dey serve am kon send am go ask Mordekai,
make e tell am wetin dey happen.
6Hatak go meet Mordekai for
di town centre for di palis gate. 7Mordekai tell am evritin wey dey happen and
all di money wey Haman sey di kingdom go get, wen dem don kill all Jew pipol.
8E give Hatak one kopy for di kommand wey dem read for Shushan, sey make dem
kill all Jew pipol. Mordekai sey make e go give and tell Estha evritin, so dat
e go beg di king make e sorry for en pipol.
9Hatak do as Mordekai tell
am, 10den Estha sey make e go give Mordekai dis message: 11“If anybody, weda na
man or woman enter di inna kourtyard go si di king without sey e koll am, dat
pesin must die. Dat na di law; evribody from doz wey dey advise di king go rish
evriwhere for di kingdom, know sey na so e bi. But na only one way wi fit take
break dis law: if di king show pesin en gold rod, den dem nor go kill dat
pesin. But e don rish one mont since di king sey make dem koll mi kom.”
12Wen Mordekai hear Estha
message, 13e kon sey make dem go warn am, “Make yu nor feel sey yu dey save
pass any oda Jew pesin, bikos yu dey stay for palis. 14If yu keep kwayet for
dis time, God go send help kon from heaven and wi go dey save, but yu go die
and yor papa family go end. Yu know weda na bikos of dis tin, na-im make yu bi
kween!”
God no dey do things
anyhow—He dey move with strategy and perfect timing. Everything get season, and
timing matter for God plan. You don ever think say maybe you dey where you dey
right now for a reason—because God put you there for such a time as this? Which
position God don place you inside this season, and how you dey use that
influence wisely?
Bible show us say Esther
enter position of influence “for such a time as this.” God use her to fulfil
Him purpose for the dangerous time wey she dey live. Esther be Jew wey dey live
among foreign people for Persia, just like many of us wey dey among people wey
no share our belief or faith.
Her cousin Mordecai train
her well and teach her how to behave when she enter palace of King Ahasuerus.
Esther obey the instruction wey Mordecai give her—she no tell anybody say she
be Jew. Later, she find favour with the king and come become queen for Esther
2:17.
You fit ask yourself this
question: where I dey now, God position me here for which reason? God fit raise
you, like He raise Esther, to act for Him purpose during this exact time for
history. He don call every believer to make impact for God kingdom in our own
day. But the question be whether we dey answer that call?
Time come now for Esther when
she suppose show her true identity. Even though Mordecai first tell her make
she hide am, God decide say the time don reach for her to speak and act. That na
the moment for her divine assignment.
The same way, wherever you
day now—whether your workplace, your home, ministry, or community—God get plan
for you there. You no dey there by mistake. Life no dey random; God dey arrange
every detail around you. Sometimes you just need to pause and pay attention,
because God still dey work quietly for wetin look normal to others.
When time reach for Israel
deliverance, Esther dey rightly positioned to act. She use her chance take
enter the king presence and fight for her people freedom. You too don receive
that kind call to rise “for such a time as this”—you go answer am? If you no
accept the mission, God plan no go fail; He go raise another person to take
your place. But you go miss the blessing wey for follow obedience.
Bible talk for 2 Timothy 1:7
say, “God no give us spirit of fear but of power, love, and sound mind.” So,
make fear no stop you from stepping into the assignment wey God design for you.
God fit do without us, but He choose to work through us according to Ephesians
1:11. Like Esther, we be the instrument wey God go use to fulfil His
purpose.
No matter where you dey or
wetin dey happen, God always get Him people ready—men and women wey go act with
courage, obedience, and faith—people wey go rise and answer kingdom call for
such a time as this. If we ignore the call, God plan go still move forward but
we go miss our chance to be part of the story.
Make you remember say, when
God call person to serve, na privilege and blessing, not burden. Every
opportunity to serve na open door to receive blessing.
