PIDGIN TERRITORIAL OVERTHROW!
Efesians 6:12 “Bikos, wi nor dey fight against human being, but na against di wiked rulers wey dey for dis world, against evil spirits and pawas wey dey di heavens.”
Na God be the one wey set
boundary, assign territory, and give spiritual authority. When we become
believers, He appoint us as Him representatives, give us both right and
responsibility to stand gidibga for the territories wey He put under our care.
Territorial overthrow no be just Bible story—na spiritual assignment for every
believer.
Many people dey think say if
dem change location, problem go end. But most times, place no be the real
issue. Naomi and her family for the book of Ruth learn this one the hard way.
Instead make dem stay for Bethlehem—meaning “house of bread”—and face the
spirit of famine with prayer, dem waka go Moab, land wey God don already judge.
As dem leave their God‑given
territory, dem enter place wey God never plan for dem at all.
Plenty of us don do the same
thing. We don run comot from where God plant us because of pressure,
discouragement, or impatience. But God no send us to run; He give us authority
to face and overthrow territorial spirits.
Jeremiah 1:10 show this
divine calling clearly. God talk say, “I appoint you with My authority… to
uproot, to pull down, to destroy, to overthrow, and then to build and plant.”
This na the language of spiritual warfare and territorial control.
For Bible, God always
promise territory—both physical and spiritual—to Him people. Abraham receive
land. Israel get the promise of a land flowing with milk and honey. Joshua hear
God say, “Every place your footstep touch go be your own.” But not one of those
promises happen automatically. Dem all need action, obedience, faith, and
spiritual fight.
Today, our own territory fit
no be physical land. E fit be our family, job, ministry, dream, assignment,
influence, or destiny. But question be—have we go take spiritual authority over
these territories? We don confront the spiritual powers wey dey guard those
gates?
Psalm 125:3 assure us say
the sceptre—the authority—of the wicked no go rest upon the land wey belong to
the righteous. This mean say anything wey God give you, enemy no get right to
rule am. But if we no stand gidigba, devil go still try occupy am.
Ephesians 6:12 explain say
our fight no be against people but against principalities, powers, and
spiritual forces wey dey control regions, families, systems, and culture. These
powers dey fight God plan and dey try keep believers weak and discouraged. But
God don already equip us with weapon—Him Spirit, Word, and full armour of
God.
Bible story like Joshua,
Jericho, Gideon, and Israel show us say we no dey conquer territory by muscle,
but by obedience, courage, and divine direction. Jericho fall because Israel
obey divine instruction. Gideon win big army through God wisdom. Anytime we
follow divine strategy, victory dey sure.
Today God dey ask you: which
territory dey under attack? Which boundary enemy dey press to cross? Which area
you need to reclaim back to your hand?
We overthrow territorial
spirits when we sabi God promises, step out in faith, obey Him Word, pray with
boldness, and no give up till breakthrough manifest. We must claim our
inheritance by refusing to allow devil occupy wetin God don give us. We stand
strong as kingdom heirs.
Territorial overthrow mean
say you dey enter fully into everything wey God assign to you, and you refuse
to let devil occupy any space wey belong to your blessing, purpose, or
destiny.
