Amos 3:3 “Two pipol go fit waka togeda, if dem nor gri?

 

As we don enter this new year, e dey very important make we know the kind people we dey waka with. If we wan go far and make real progress, we get to waka with people wey dey go the same direction with us. No use to join body with person wey dey go different road. If you dey dig deep for the things of the Spirit, e no make sense make you dey spend your time with people wey dey happy for the shallow end.

No two people fit waka well together if dem no agree where dem dey go? If I don decide where I wan reach, and I sabi the road well, no matter who wan pull me comot for line or the distract me, I get to remember where I dey go. Na me go decide say I no go follow another person waka for wrong road just because dem invite me.

Galatians 6:2 talk say make we carry each other burden, but that one go happen only if we dey in agreement and alignment — both for our action and for our mind. 

Think about God and Israel—Bible show us many times say God no fit move forward with Israel unless dem gree waka for Him way. Plenty times Israel no gree follow God law or dem do their own thing, and that one dey tire God because e go come correct and rescue dem again and again. But because of Him mercy, e still show up for dem. But anytime Israel no align with God, separation go happen.

E get advantage if we dey together, like Solomon talk for Ecclesiastes 4:9–10, but that togetherness go only strong and sweet when the people wey join dey in unity and agreement.

Make we no dey always find people wey go carry us, help us, or push us forward without God help — e dey always cost. As Psalm 19 talk, “God wey Him way perfect.” So why we go join body with people wey always dey unsure, hesitate, or just dey stuck, instead of holding tight to the One wey sabi the way, where we dey go, and how to carry us reach there?

Everybody dey go somewhere — whether we know or not. So, where you dey go? The new year don already start, no need dey to wait again. The question now be: wetin you go do with am? The year dey wait make you step enter, live am well, take up your assignment, meet new people, and make the changes wey God don plan for you. No just carry last year baggage enter this one. Sometimes God wan give you fresh start, but e no go happen if you still hold the old things wey dey drag you back. No more waka with people wey go hold you down.

If we no dey in agreement, we no fit waka together. We must choose to move with people wey dey seek God sincerely, dey pray, serve with passion, and chase spiritual matter together.

God dey reward those wey diligent, but the question be—people wey dey around you, dem ready to waka this road with you? You ready to go where God dey lead you, do wetin Him dey ask, and talk wetin suppose to be talked?

So where you dey head—emotionally, physically, financially, mentally? God dey invite you make you go deeper for spiritual things, take the higher road, reach for something greater. Na for there breakthrough and victory dey.

That Psalm 40:3 new song no go come from repeating last year routine. E go show when you don conquer new challenges, see new things, celebrate new victories, and witness God move in new ways. Na that kind testimony dey bring the new song—born from your tests and the miracles wey follow am.

If you get idea or vision like Habakkuk 2:2 talk, find people wey go help you make am real—people wey fit run, waka, and join hand with you so your story go impact others well-well.

- How I fit connect intentionally with people wey go help me go deeper for the things of God? 

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for this new year and the fresh start wey You don give me. Help me make I waka in agreement with Your Word and surround myself with people wey get Your kind heart. Guide my steps, strengthen my faith, and make everything wey I do bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
