CHILD-FRIENDLY BIND AND LOOSE!
Matthew 18:18 GNT
"And so I tell all of
you: what you prohibit on earth will be prohibited in heaven, and what you
permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.
God has given us power to
bind bad things and loose His blessings.
Sometimes the things we do
are big and important, and God uses our work to help people. But whenever God
is doing something good, the enemy tries to stop it.
Jesus said, “Whatever you
bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be
loosed in heaven.”
To loosen God’s blessings
means asking God to help our work, bless it, and make it grow.
To bind evil works means
using the authority God gave us to stop the enemy from spoiling what God has
started.
From the beginning, God
blessed the work of our hands (Genesis 1:28). He wants us to be fruitful in
everything we do. Psalm 90:17 says, “Establish the work of our hands.”
But the enemy tries to stop
good things (John 10:10).
Nehemiah faced people who
tried to stop him.
Daniel faced people who
planned against him.
Paul faced spiritual battles
that tried to block him.
When you are fruitful,
challenges may come — but it doesn’t mean God has left you.
Binding evil works is not
fear; it is faith.
When God blesses your work,
He also protects it (Isaiah 54:17).
Your words have power
(Proverbs 18:21).
When you speak blessings,
heaven agrees with you.
When you speak against the
enemy’s plans, you use the victory Jesus already won.
Your words matter. Your
prayers matter. God has given you authority.
REFLECTION QUESTIONS
- Where do I need God’s
blessing on the work of my hands?
- Have I noticed any
spiritual challenges? How does God want me to stand strong?
- How can I use my words and
prayers to agree with God for my life?
PRAYER: Father, I lose Your
blessings over every work You have given me. Let Your favour rest on my hands.
I bind every evil plan that wants to stop the fruit You have prepared for me.
Strengthen and establish me in all You have started, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Shalom
