CHILD-FRIENDLY GRACEFUL OVERCOMER!
1 John 5:4-5 GNT
because every child of God
is able to defeat the world. And we win the victory over the world by means of
our faith. [5] Who can defeat the world? Only the person who believes that
Jesus is the Son of God.
A graceful overcomer is
someone who keeps trusting God even when things are hard.
Sometimes victory is quiet —
it is choosing to stand, choosing to believe, and choosing to keep going.
God told Paul in 2
Corinthians 12:9, “My grace is enough for you.”
Paul wanted the problem to
go away, but God gave him grace to stay strong.
Grace doesn’t always remove
the problem, but it gives you strength.
Grace helps you walk through
storms.
Grace changes you on the
inside.
Bible heroes leaned on
God:
- Moses felt unsure, but
grace helped him lead.
- Gideon felt small, but
grace made him brave.
- David trusted God when
Saul chased him.
- Jehoshaphat said, “Our
eyes are on You.”
Leaning on God is not giving
up — it is trusting Him.
Paul learned that God’s
power shows up when we feel weak.
Your weakness can become a
testimony because God’s strength shines through it.
Sometimes victory is fast.
Sometimes it takes time.
But grace is always there.
You are not just an
overcomer — you are a graceful overcomer.
REFLECTION QUESTIONS
· Where
do I feel weak, and how can I lean on God?
· Am I
trying to handle things alone instead of trusting God?
· How
has God helped me before?
PRAYER: Lord, thank You for
the grace that helps me when I feel weak. Teach me to trust You and walk as a
graceful overcomer. Let Your strength carry me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Shalom
