PIDGIN GRACEFUL OVERCOMER!

You be overcomer? You be graceful overcomer? This kind victory no dey always look like win for ordinary eye. E no dey noisy, e no dey shine, people no dey always clap for am. Na that kind victory were person still dey stand when life dey press am well‑well, still dey believe even when answer never show, still dey move forward even as weakness dey show for body. Na this one be victory of graceful overcomer.

Paul understand this thing deep. For 2 Corinthians 12:9, the Lord tell am: “My grace dey enough for you, My power dey complete for where weakness dey.” Paul bin want make God commot the thorn. But God give am something better — grace wey dey overcome.

You need this kain grace to help you overcome something for your life so? Grace no dey always remove the struggle, but e dey give you power to rise above am. Grace no dey always quiet the storm, but e dey give you strength to waka inside am. Grace no dey always change the situation but change you inside the situation.

Graceful overcomer no be person wey no dey ever weak, na person wey don discover God strength inside that same place wey weakness dey for shout. Grace go make you strong pass the battle, na so you go turn overcomer.

That thorn for Paul life no be sign of defeat; na door wey open am enter deeper trust in God. God no shame am because of him weakness — na there He meet am. Grace no be God Plan B; na Him main way to give person victory.

When God say, “My power dey perfect for weakness,” God no dey point finger for your limitation — He dey show you wetin He plan do with your life. Na for that place where your own strength finish, na there His power dey shine pass.

Moses dey stammer, but grace turn am to deliverer. Gideon feel say e no reach, but grace turn am to mighty warrior. Grace no dey pretend say weakness no dey; instead e dey use that weakness do better thing.

Grace dey teach you to lean, no be to break! Graceful overcomer dey learn this rhythm of leaning. To lean no be to collapse — na to trust. Na to shift all your weight from your own power put for God hand and Him sufficiency.

David lean on God when Saul dey chase am. Jehoshaphat lean on God when enemy surround am, e say: “We no know wetin to do, but our eye dey on You” (2 Chronicles 20:12). To lean na correct posture of overcomer. Na that quiet talk wey your heart dey talk: “I no fit do this thing by myself — but I no dey alone.”

Grace go turn your weakness to testimony, just like Paul later talk: “I go even dey happy to talk about my weaknesses, so that Christ power go rest on me.” Na this be voice of person wey don see secret say weakness no be enemy of victory — na pride be the real enemy. Weakness no be the full story — grace na the last chapter.

Your weakness dey turn to testimony when e become place where God power dey rest. That thorn wey bin dey disturb you go later turn reminder say na God dey carry you. That struggle wey once dey shame you go turn to stage where Him strength go shine. Graceful overcomers no dey hide their scars — dem dey allow the scars talk about God faithfulness.

Grace go hold you till the victory show for physical, even though sometimes overcoming dey happen sharp‑sharp, sometimes e be journey. But for both, grace dey present. Paul overcome no be because thorn disappear, but because he rise above am. Joseph overcome no be because he escape pit, but because God lift am from inside pit reach palace. Jesus overcome no be because He dodge cross, but because He conquer through the cross.

Grace no dey always change the road wey you dey pass — but e guarantee how the matter go end. You no be just overcomer; you be graceful overcomer. You dey overcome with strength. You dey overcome with God presence woven inside every step wey you dey take.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS 

·       Where I dey feel weak right now, and how God fit dey invite me make I lean on Him grace instead of my own strength? 

·       Which battle I dey try fight by myself, instead make I allow God power rest on me? 

·       How God don use my past weaknesses or struggles before to show Him strength for my life? 

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for the grace wey dey strengthen me for every weakness. Teach me to lean on You, trust You, and waka as graceful overcomer. Make Your power rest on me and Your strength carry me, turn every struggle to testimony and every weakness to place where Your glory go shine, in Jesus name. Amen.
