PIDGIN MOVE ON!
Romans 8:1 “ So, God nor go kondemn pipol wey bilive Jesus Christ”.
Sometimes e dey be like say
our past don chain our leg. Old mistake dey replay for our mind like song we no
fit off. Regret dey whisper accusation. Shame dey try tell us say we don
fail—say God no love us or use us again. Even when we sabi say God don forgive
us, we still dey fight to forgive ourselves.
So, we go dey carry load wey
Christ don already lift for Matthew 11:28–30. We dey repeat failure wey He don
already redeem for Isaiah 43:18–19. We go dey stay for place wey Jesus don
already call us comot from.
Paul no talk say
“condemnation go finish one day for heaven.” He no even talk say “e don reduce
small.” He talk am plain: “No condemnation.” No trace. No remainder. No shadow.
Gavel don fall, judgment don finish, and God don declare you free (John
5:24).
But to move on no easy
sometimes. Prison door fit open wide, yet we go still siddon inside because
guilt don become normal. Na so Israel dey think of Egypt after God don free
them (Numbers 14:3–4). Sometimes we dey still hold old label because we no sabi
who we be without am—like Gideon wey call himself “the least,” but God call am
“mighty man of valour” (Judges 6:12–15). Sometimes we dey look back because the
future dey fear us—like Lot wife wey turn back instead of move forward (Genesis
19:26).
But God still dey call us go
front—not because we strong, but because His grace dey enough (2 Corinthians
12:9).
To move on no mean say we go
act like the past no happen. E mean say we don accept say Christ don clear am
finish (Colossians 2:13–14). E mean say we believe say His sacrifice complete
and enough. E mean say His mercy big pass our worst moment, and His Spirit dey
lead us enter new beginning.
To move on means make you
shift your focus.
Condemnation dey look back;
grace dey look front (Philippians 3:13–14).
Condemnation dey tie you to
who you be before; grace dey call you to who you dey become (Ephesians
2:10).
Condemnation dey talk say,
“You be your failure”; grace dey talk say, “You be God pikin” (1 John
3:1).
Condemnation dey hold you
down; grace dey give you new story (Isaiah 61:1–3).
Satan want make you stuck
(John 10:10).
God want make you free
(Galatians 5:1).
Satan dey tie your identity
to your lowest point.
God dey tie your identity to
wetin Jesus don finish for cross (2 Corinthians 5:21).
When God say, “Move on,” He
no dey ignore your pain. He no dey rush your healing. He dey remind you say
this no be end of your story. He dey remind you say mercy still dey flow
(Lamentations 3:22–23). He dey remind you say the cross don talk last (John 19:30).
Sometimes to move on mean
repentance—turn back and agree with God (Acts 3:19).
E mean to forgive person—or
forgive yourself (Ephesians 4:32).
E mean to release wetin you
no fit fix (Psalm 55:22).
Na to take bold step enter
unknown—like Abraham wey step out without sabi where he dey go (Hebrews
11:8).
But every time, e mean trust
the One wey dey waka beside you (Isaiah 41:10).
Romans 8 start with no
condemnation and end with no separation.
From the beginning, God free
you from the past.
For the end, He secure your
future.
And for the middle, the Holy
Spirit dey strengthen you for today (Romans 8:26–27).
You no dey condemned. You no
dey forgotten. You no dey alone. The Lord dey call you to move on—
- From guilt—grace deep pass
am (Ephesians 1:7).
- From shame—your identity
for Christ sure (2 Corinthians 5:17).
- From fear—God love dey
chase am comot (1 John 4:18).
- From regret—God still dey
write your story (Philippians 1:6).
- From lie—truth don dey
speak for your life (John 8:32).
- From past—Christ dey make
all things new (Revelation 21:5).
No need to stay for the
place where condemnation leave you.
You fit rise again (Micah
7:8).
You fit breathe again
(Ezekiel 37:5–6).
You fit waka free (Galatians
5:1).
Because inside Christ, the
door don open, the chain don break, and the verdict don stand.
Now, condemnation no dey for
anybody wey dey inside Christ—so make you move on!
