CHILD-FRIENDLY PRAY WITH POWER!

Psalm 4:1-8 GNT

Answer me when I pray, O God, my defender! When I was in trouble, you helped me. Be kind to me now and hear my prayer. [2] How long will you people insult me? How long will you love what is worthless and go after what is false? [3] Remember that the LORD has chosen the righteous for his own, and he hears me when I call to him. [4] Tremble with fear and stop sinning; think deeply about this, when you lie in silence on your beds. [5] Offer the right sacrifices to the LORD, and put your trust in him. [6] There are many who pray: "Give us more blessings, O LORD. Look on us with kindness!" [7] But the joy that you have given me is more than they will ever have with all their grain and wine. [8] When I lie down, I go to sleep in peace; you alone, O LORD, keep me perfectly safe.

Prayer is talking to God because He loves you and wants a relationship with you. Prayer is not just a habit—it's a hearttoheart moment with God. He listens when you talk to Him, and He wants you to come to Him every day.

Prayer is where we give God our worries, and He gives us peace. We bring our weakness, and He gives us strength. We bring our fears, and He brings comfort. Prayer is a beautiful exchange.

God tells us in Jeremiah 33:3 that when we call on Him, He hears us. We can talk to Him about anything—our mistakes, our feelings, our needs—and He forgives, helps, and guides us.

Jesus teaches us to Ask, Seek, and Knock (Matthew 7:7–11).

That means:

Keep asking God,

Keep seeking Him,

Keep knocking and trusting Him.

God answers in His perfect way and time.

Prayer is not just words—it’s a heart attitude. You can pray with your voice, with your thoughts, with tears, or even in quiet moments. God sees and hears it all.

God wants you to pray. He cannot answer the prayers you never speak. When you pray in Jesus’ name (John 14:14), you use the power and authority He gave you.

Prayer can open doors, close doors, bring healing, protect us, and show God’s power. When we pray with faith, we trust God’s will, not just what we want.

Go into prayer expecting God to move. Believe His promises (Mark 11:22–24) and pray according to His word (1 John 5:14–15). Like the blind man in Mark 10:51, pray clearly and specifically. God has given you His Word, the Blood of Jesus, and the name of Jesus as powerful weapons.

So—pray with power!
