CHILD-FRIENDLY QUALITY CONTROL!

Colossians 3:23 GNT

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as though you were working for the Lord and not for people.

 

Quality control means doing your best, being honest, and working carefully. God cares not just about what we do, but how we do it.

In Genesis 1, after God made something, He looked at it and said, “It was good.” God checked His work. That shows us to make it, check it, and do it well.

When God told Moses to build the tabernacle, He chose Bezalel and Oholiab because they were skilled and filled with God’s Spirit. This teaches us that learning, practice, and doing things properly matter to God.

The Bible also warns against cheating or cutting corners. Proverbs says God hates dishonest scales. Today, that means we should not rush, lie, or do sloppy work.

Jesus told the story of the wise and foolish builders. One built carefully on a strong foundation. The other took shortcuts. Only the strong house stood in the storm. Good work lasts.

Jesus also said, “Whoever can be trusted with little can be trusted with much.” When we do small jobs well, God can trust us with bigger ones.

Colossians 3:23 tells us to work as unto the Lord. When we do our best, we honour God. When we cut corners, we misrepresent Him.

Quality control means saying, “Lord, You are worthy of my best.”

·       Where have I rushed instead of doing my best? 

·       How can I practice excellence in small things? 

·       How would my work change if I did it for God?

PRAYER: Lord, help me to work with honesty, care, and joy. Teach me to do my best in everything so I can honour You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
