CHILD-FRENDLY GODLY UNDERSTANDING!

1 Kings 4:29 GNT

God gave Solomon unusual wisdom and insight, and knowledge too great to be measured.

 

Godly understanding means learning to see things the way God sees them. The Bible says God gave Solomon a wise and understanding heart. This means God helped him think clearly, make good choices, and understand what was right.

Understanding is the ability to know what is true and what is not. It helps us tell the difference between good and bad. But true understanding comes from God. Job 32:8 teaches us that God’s Spirit gives us understanding. Without Him, we can know facts, but we cannot truly know God’s will.

When we follow Jesus and learn from Him—this is called discipleship—He helps us understand the secrets of the Kingdom (Matthew 13:11). God shows His deep truths to those who stay close to Him.

God gives each person the right amount of understanding they need for their assignment. In Exodus 31:3, God filled Bezaleel with His Spirit and gave him special skills and understanding to do excellent work.

When we read and think about God’s Word, He helps us understand even more. Psalm 119:99 says that meditating on God’s Word gives us greater understanding than our teachers!

Godly understanding is like a light in our hearts. It helps us know God better and live the way He wants. The Holy Spirit teaches us, guides us, and helps us make wise choices.
