PIDGIN PRAYER IS KEY!

Mark 11:24 “ Na dis make mi dey tell una sey, anytin wey una pray and ask God for, make una bilive sey una don get am and e go bi una own.”

 

Prayer na one of di greatest gifts wey God give human beings, but na still one of di most misunderstood spiritual disciplines. Generally, prayer na to ask for favour with seriousness and sincerity. But for believer, prayer pass just request—na lifeline of our relationship with God. Na communication with the Creator, divine dialogue where we dey talk and God dey answer. Many times we dey treat prayer like one‑way phone call, forgetting say God want talk to us too, as He promise for Jeremiah 33:3: “Call me, and I go answer you…” 

Prayer na worship. Na when we dey hail God greatness, confess our sins, beg for mercy, stand in gap for others, and thank am for Him goodness. Na believer posture of dependence, humility, and trust. Ephesians 6:18 command us make we dey pray every time because prayer no be option—na key for survival, strength, and spiritual victory. 

We dey live for world where Satan and him agents dey always try block God plan for our life. Daniel 10:10–13 show how demonic forces fit resist answer, delay breakthrough, and block deliverance. Na why prayer be key. We dey inside spiritual warfare, dey fight invisible enemies wey human strength and natural weapon no fit handle. To overcome, we must remain connected to supernatural power, presence, and authority of God. 

Prayer dey activate heaven army. Prayer dey call divine intervention. Prayer dey release spiritual forces. 

Even Jesus pray. Mark 1:35 show how He go wake early to seek di Father, and Hebrews 7:25 remind us say He still dey pray for us today. If Son of God pray, how much more we? Prayer no be dry religious ritual—na necessity. 

We dey pray about everything: our needs, desires, pain, fear, family, community, and future. Angels dey assigned to work on our behalf, but na prayer dey send dem go on assignment. Power wey prayer generate na wetin dey scatter enemy plan. Bible full with testimonies of victory wey come through prayer: 

- Jehoshaphat pray when Moab and Ammon surround Judah, and God give dem supernatural victory for 2 Chronicles 20:6. 

- Elisha pray for Shunammite woman pikin, and di pikin rise from death for 2 Kings 4:32–35. 

- Peter pray for Dorcas, and she come back to life for Acts 9:36–43. 

Through prayer, we dey invite God enter our matter. We dey seek Him direction, intervention, and Him will. Prayer dey keep communication line open between us and our Commander—the Lord of Hosts. Na ongoing fellowship, continuous connection with living God wey dey hear and answer as Psalm 65:2 talk. 

Nothing dey move God hand like prayer. James 5:16 say prayer of righteous person get great power and results. Prayer dey change things, but more importantly, prayer dey change us. E dey align our heart with God heart and position us to receive Him promises. 

2 Chronicles 7:14 show us ingredients of effective prayer: 

- We must truly be God people—people wey carry Him name go call upon am. 

- We must come with humility—proud heart no fit pray effectively. 

- We must seek God face—not only Him hand; relationship dey required. 

- We must repent and turn from sin—confession and turning away na compulsory for answered prayer. 

Beloved, continue to dey pray. Continue to dey seek. Continue to dey knock. Prayer na key. Prayer na power. Prayer na partnership with God. Prayer na believer greatest weapon and strongest place of intimacy. May the Lord strengthen your spirit of prayer and deepen your hunger for Him presence.

PRAYER: Thank You, Lord, because You don assure me say You dey hear and answer when I call. Give me spirit of prayer—teach me to pray without stopping, with humility, faith, and perseverance. Strengthen my desire for Your presence and help me remain connected to You for every situation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
