PIDGIN SEEKING AND FOLLOWING GOD’S PLAN AND PURPOSE!

2 Timothy 2:19 give us strong assurance say God truth dey solid, everlasting, and no fit shake: “The Lord know who truly be Him own,” and “Person wey call himself Christian no suppose dey do bad things.” These two strong foundations—identity and holiness—na the backbone wey help us sabi and waka inside God will. Before we begin find direction, strategy, or answer, God first hold us strong for relationship. True divine direction always start from divine belonging. 

Bible show say God dey lead person from intimacy. Jesus talk am clear clear for John 10:14: “I sabi My sheep.” And God talk am with love for Isaiah 43:1: “I don call you by your name; you be My own.” When we really rest inside that truth say God know us, choose us, and love us deeply, the struggle go stop and trust go begin grow. Many believers dey feel lost or confused no be because God no talk, but because He dey draw dem near—He dey invite dem to stay before dem act, to be before dem do. 

When identity don sure, holiness go become the posture wey make our spiritual ear sharp. To “waka comot from sin” no be say make you perfect, but na invitation to alignment—to live life wey honour God and position your heart to hear Him well. Compromise, hidden sin, unforgiveness, bitterness, and self‑driven plans dey create noise for spirit wey make person no dey hear God well. Psalm 24:3–4 talk say na only people wey get clean hand and pure heart fit climb God mountain, and Matthew 5:8 talk say na pure heart go see God. Purity dey clear perception. Holiness dey restore sensitivity. Alignment dey open revelation flow. 

From that position, to seek God go become full‑hearted. Jeremiah 29:13 promise: “You go seek Me and you go find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.” This kind seeking mean surrender—it mean to drop your own timeline, your own expectation, your own way. Na the heart of Samuel wey talk “Speak, Lord, Your servant dey hear” (1 Samuel 3:10). Na the trust wey Abraham get when he take step without knowing all the details (Genesis 12:1). Na the patience of David wey wait many years before he wear the crown wey God promise am. Many times God dey guide us small small—through whispers, impressions, promptings, open doors, closed doors, and moments of silence. He dey lead one step at a time, not through full blueprint. 

Obedience na the real sign of genuine seeking. Jesus talk am: “My sheep dey hear My voice… and dem dey follow Me.” People wey really want God direction dey respond when He talk. Noah obey instruction wey look foolish for him generation. Mary small “yes” change world history. True obedience dey open clarity, healing, protection, and spiritual growth. God guidance dey show through peace (Colossians 3:15), wise counsel (Proverbs 11:14), Scripture, and gentle leading of Holy Spirit (John 16:13). 

Even when person don know God will clearly, still need trust God timing. Joseph wait about thirteen years before the dream come true. Moses spend decades before he lead Israel. Even Jesus wait for divine timing before He start public ministry. Waiting no mean denial—it mean preparation. God dey use waiting time to refine our character, stretch our faith, and prepare us for the heavy blessing we dey pray for. 

Last last, God plan no just be about wetin He want make we do—but who He dey shape us to become. We be Him workmanship, Him masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10). As we seek and follow God, the journey dey change us. His will dey purify our motive, deepen our love for Him, build our character, and show His glory inside our life. True purpose no dey found through human effort, but through surrender, alignment, obedience, and trust. 

REFLECTION QUESTIONS 

·       Where God dey invite me to rest more inside my identity as Him pikin? 

·       Any area for my life wey need alignment or I dey hide compromise wey dey block my spiritual clarity? 

·       Wetin be the step of obedience wey God dey ask me make I take today—even if e small, strange, or uncomfortable? 

PRAYER: Father, thank You say You know me, You call me, and You invite me to walk inside Your perfect will. Purify my heart and align my desire with Your own. Teach me to seek You with sincerity, wait for You with patience, and follow You with courage. Clear every distraction and anything wey dey block my spiritual sight. Lead me step by step, and make Your peace confirm Your guidance. Holy Spirit, teach me, let Your voice direct me, and let Your presence change me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
