CHILD-FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE SHIFT!

 Haggai 2:6-7 ICB

"This is what the Lord of heaven's armies says: 'In a short time I will shake the heavens and earth once again. And I will shake the sea and the dry land. [7] I will shake all the nations. All the nations will bring their wealth. Then I will fill this Temple with glory,' says the Lord of heaven's armies.

The world around us is always changing. Weather changes, seasons change, and things that look permanent can suddenly become different. In the same way, the spiritual atmosphere around people, families, homes, churches, and communities can also change. Some atmospheres feel peaceful and full of joy, while others feel heavy with fear, sadness, or confusion. But one thing is sure: God has the power to change any atmosphere.

Sometimes we ask God to fix our problems, open doors, heal our hearts, or bring breakthrough. But we do not always take the steps that help the atmosphere shift. God can change things through our obedience, faith, repentance, praise, and speaking His Word. We may want quick change, but God often invites us to work with Him so His promises can show in our lives.

Atmosphere is the feeling or mood in a place. Spiritually, it is what controls what is happening around us. Some places feel peaceful, while others feel tense. Some homes feel full of love and prayer, while others feel dark or troubled. But no atmosphere is stronger than God. He can change anything.

From the beginning of the Bible, God shows His power over everything. Jesus also showed authority over storms, sickness, fear, and darkness. In Mark 4, Jesus spoke to a storm, and it became calm. This shows that when God speaks, chaos must stop.

God says He will shake everything to show His power. When God moves, nothing can stop Him. He can change what looks impossible.

What situation do you want God to shift? Is it in your health, family, school, emotions, or friendships? No matter how long it has been, God can still change it. Faith speaks to mountains and expects them to move.

Just like weather can change suddenly, spiritual atmospheres can shift too. Jesus changed atmospheres everywhere He went, and we can too through prayer, faith, worship, and God’s Word.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

·       What negative atmosphere have I allowed for too long?

·       Where is God asking me to work with Him?

·       What Scripture or action can I use this week to shift the atmosphere?

PRAYER: Father, I command every negative atmosphere in my life to shift, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
