CHILD-FRIENDLY THE SUPERNATURAL LIFE!

Mark 16:16-18 GNT

Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned. [17] Believers will be given the power to perform miracles: they will drive out demons in my name; they will speak in strange tongues; [18] if they pick up snakes or drink any poison, they will not be harmed; they will place their hands on sick people, and these will get well."

 

The supernatural life is not only for pastors or special people—it is for every child of God who believes in Jesus. Jesus said that amazing signs will follow those who believe. This means God’s power can work through ordinary people who trust Him.

The supernatural life begins with faith. Faith means believing God’s Word even when things don’t look easy. When we believe, God helps us do what we cannot do by ourselves.

In the Bible, many people saw God’s power because they believed. 

The woman who was sick touched Jesus and got healed because she believed. 

Blind Bartimaeus believed Jesus could help him, and he received his sight. 

Abraham believed God’s promise, and God kept His Word.

Jesus also said that believers would use His name. The name of Jesus is powerful. When we pray in Jesus’ name, we are trusting His power, not our own. The disciples used Jesus’ name to heal people and help others.

God also promises to protect His people. This does not mean we should do dangerous things, but it means God watches over us when we obey Him. God protected Daniel in the lions’ den and kept His servants safe in the fire.

Jesus said we should care for others. When we pray for the sick, God brings healing and hope. God’s power shows His great love.

The supernatural life means trusting God, loving people, and allowing God to work through you every day.

PRAYER: Dear Jesus, thank You for loving me and giving me Your power. Help me to trust You, be kind to others, and let Your love show through my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
