PIDGIN GEAR CHANGE!

Isaya 43:18–19 “But God sey, “Make una nor tink about wetin dey happen or put una mind for wetin don happen before. 19 But naw, I go do new tin; e go happen and una go si am! I go make road for di wildaness kon give una plenty wota for der.

Sometimes for believer life, God dey give signal say e don reach time to change gear. Just like motor no fit climb hill, speed, or enter new road if e remain for the same gear, na so person no fit enter new spiritual season if e still dey use old pattern, strength, or mindset.

Gear change na divine shift, na call to move, think, pray and obey differently.

Paul understand this thing when e write, “When I be pikin, I dey talk like pikin… but when I become man, I comot childish things.” for 1 Corinthians 13:11.

Growth dey demand transition!

Destiny dey demand movement!

Faith dey demand response!

Gear change dey start when God prompt person. God dey announce shift before e show the full picture.

He tell Abram, “Go… the land wey I go show you.” (Genesis 12:1).

He tell Moses, “Una don stay for this mountain too long.” (Deuteronomy 1:6).

He tell Joshua, “Moses my servant don die; now arise…” (Joshua 1:2).

Gear change dey start with divine nudge — one stirring for your spirit, holy dissatisfaction, that sense say the old rhythm no fit again. Na God dey whisper, “Move! Grow! Stretch! Advance!”

You no fit shift forward if you still dey hold tight to wetin dey behind. Gear change dey require letting go!

Lot wife look back and lose her future (Genesis 19:26).

Israel dey long for Egypt and delay their promise (Numbers 14:3–4).

Saul hold onto him own way and lose him throne (1 Samuel 15:22–23).

Gear change dey require release of old habits, fears, excuses, relationships, and old versions of yourself.

God no dey pour new wine inside old wineskin (Mark 2:22). Shift dey demand surrender.

When motor dey change gear, engine dey adjust to produce the right power for the journey ahead. Na so spiritual gear change dey require fresh strength from God.

Isaiah 40:31 talk say, “Them wey wait upon the Lord go renew their strength.” Renew mean exchange — drop your own strength make you collect Him own.

Elijah experience am. After he run because of fear, angel feed am and strengthen am for fortydays journey (1 Kings 19:58).

David experience am when he “strengthen himself in the Lord” before he pursue the Amalekites (1 Samuel 30:6–8).

Strength for next level no dey come from yesterday supply.

Every shift wey God start dey require obedience step.

Noah build ark before rain ever show (Genesis 6:22).

Peter cast net again after night of failure (Luke 5:5).

The widow pour oil into empty vessels before miracle show (2 Kings 4:1–7).

Obedience na the clutch wey dey allow gear to shift. Without obedience, person go remain for neutral — full of potential but no dey go anywhere.

Gear change dey bring acceleration because when God shift your gear, e no dey slow you down. E dey move you enter: Greater clarity,  authority, fruitfulness, spiritual maturity, and greater impact.

Joseph shift from prisoner to prime minister in one day (Genesis 41:41–43).

Esther shift from orphan to queen to deliverer (Esther 4:14).

Early church shift from fear to boldness after Holy Spirit come (Acts 2:1–4).

Divine gear change dey bring divine acceleration — no be by human effort, but by God hand.

To shift gear fit dey uncomfortable. The unknown fit dey fear person. But God say, “I go instruct you and teach you the way wey you go go.” (Psalm 32:8).

God no dey call person enter new gear without going ahead of am.

Gear change therefore dey require total trust.

Trust na the fuel wey dey keep you moving.

Trust say God dey see wetin you no dey see.

Trust say Him timing perfect.

Trust say Him plans good.

Trust say the shift necessary.
