PIDGIN KINGDOM CITIZENSHIP!

Psalm 132:13–14 “Yes! God don choose Jerusalem; E don choose di town as en own 14 and E sey, “I go dey rest for here forever. I go stay der, bikos na mi choose am.

Every human being belong somewhere. Everybody get country or nation wey dem come from. Na so e be for believers too. We get spiritual nationality—we be citizens of Zion. Zion na the place wey God dey stay, the seat of His presence, the ground wey Him beauty dey shine from. Psalm 50:2 talk am: “Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth.” As believers, we no belong to this world (John 15:19). We dey live here physically, but our real citizenship dey inside God kingdom.

Because we be Zion people, earthly system no dey controlled us. We dey respect earthly authority, but our highest allegiance na to the King of kings—the Master of the universe. Proverbs 16:1 remind us say God get the final say for our life, our plans, and our destiny. Revelation 3:14 call am the Amen—the One wey Him word dey final.

Every believer na Zionite, chosen by the Father. According to 1 Corinthians 6:19–20, our body na temple of the Holy Spirit. God the Father create us, God the Son buy us with Him blood, and God the Holy Spirit dey live inside us. This one make our body the dwelling place of God—Him Zion for earth. He choose us, mark us, and make us Him home.

As citizens of Zion, when we submit to God, He dey guide our steps and establish our plans. Isaiah 4:3 promise say those wey remain faithful, Him go call holy and their names go dey inside the Book of Life. Citizenship dey come with identity, responsibility, and privilege.

Just as earthly citizens get rights, citizens of Zion get spiritual benefits. Isaiah 33 show some of these blessings. God promise to deal with anything wey dey act wickedly against us. He talk say inhabitants of Zion no go say, “I dey sick.” Even the weak, the lame, and the struggling go share in Zion blessings. The lame go take the prey. The sick go recover strength. Nobody for Zion dey left behind.

Christ, the Messiah, na the cornerstone of Zion. But many still dey stumble because dem no recognise who He be. Isaiah talk say some go reject am, thinking say e no make sense to trust am for salvation. But for those wey believe, He become sure foundation, anchor of hope, and strength of Zion.

As Zionites, the oppressed, the lonely, and the broken fit take comfort inside their identity as “children of Zion.” This name show God tenderness toward Him people. He care for us like Father dey care for Him children. Christ, the Cornerstone of spiritual Zion, dey give hope to the poor, the weak, and the hungry. God heart always dey toward Him own.

Isaiah 40:9 call us “Zionites wey bring good news.” This mean every believer get responsibility to share the gospel. We be messengers of hope, carriers of light, announcers of God good news.

Hebrews 12:22–24 talk say as citizens of Zion, we get access to the spiritual realm. We dey worship with angels, with saints wey don go before us, and with heavenly assembly. Zion citizenship give us spiritual access, spiritual authority, and spiritual inheritance.

Every citizen of Zion dey go from strength to strength. Psalm 84:7 say dem dey move from one level of grace to another. God dey strengthen them for every season. Their journey dey upward, forward, and God-directed. You be Zionite—chosen, marked, and empowered.
