PIDGIN MORE THAN CONQUERORS!

 Romans 8:36–39 “6 As dem rite am, “Bikos of una, wi dey face deat from morning go rish nite and wi bi like sheep wey dem won go kill.” 37 Inside all dis tins, awa joy don dey full, bikos Jesus love us! 38 But I dey sure sey, weda na deat or life; angels or wiked pawas; tins wey dey naw or di ones wey dey kom; 39 tins wey dey heaven; tins for under dis eart or anytin wey God kreate, non of dem go fit separate us from God love, bikos of Jesus Christ wey bi awa Oga God.

 

Who be conqueror? Na person wey win battle and stand for victory after fight. But Romans 8 no just call us conquerors—e talk say we dey “more than conquerors” through Christ. This mean say our victory no small or shakey. E complete, strong, and sure because e dey stand on wetin Jesus don finish, no be on human power.

Plenty believers still dey see themselves as defeated or delayed because of wetin dem don see. But God Word dey talk better thing: for Christ, we no dey defined by fear, failure, or struggle. Na Him love, grace, and victory dey define us. To be more than conqueror mean say even if fight dey real, your identity for Christ no dey shake.

Our victory start from salvation. Jesus conquer sin, death, and grave through Him sacrifice and resurrection. Because of Am, we don reconcile with God, we fit live righteous life, and we get strength to endure anything wey life bring. We no dey overcome because hardship no dey; we dey overcome because Christ dey inside the hardship with us—He dey sustain us, refine us, and carry us through. Him love dey give us endurance, courage, and hope wey nothing fit destroy.

Life trials dey real and painful, but dem dey temporary compared to the eternal glory wey dey wait God children. 1 Corinthians 15:50 remind us say flesh and blood no fit inherit God kingdom. This one dey show say suffering no be the end of our story. God dey use pressure teach dependence, tears deepen faith, and testing build Christlike character. As Paul talk for Acts 14:22, na through many tribulations we dey enter God kingdom. But inside every tribulation, God dey teach us how to conquer anything wey wan pull our heart away from Him love.

No matter how strong the battle be, anybody wey belong to Christ go still come out victorious. Why? Because Jesus don already conquer. Him resurrection show say death, suffering, and Satan no get the final word. For anybody wey trust Jesus, fear no get power again, condemnation don break, and eternal life don secure. Na why believer fit stand with confidence even for tough season—because our victory dey inside Christ triumph.

With God love, we no just survive; we dey conquer pass conqueror. Him love dey hold us steady when emotion fail, give us peace when mind dey troubled, and remind us say our life dey hidden inside Christ. God love no dey passive—e dey protect, defend, comfort, and empower us every day.

Satan na our enemy, and e dey send many attacks wey wan steal joy. Romans 8 mention trouble, hardship, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, and sword—both external pressure and internal struggle wey fit make believer feel abandoned. But none of these fit separate us from God love for Christ Jesus. The enemy fit fight, accuse, intimidate, and tempt, but e no fit cancel God purpose or steal your eternal inheritance. For Christ, your salvation dey secure, and Him love dey constant for every storm.

We no fit win spiritual battles with human strength. Psalm 18:29 show say na the Lord be our strength, shield, and deliverer. Na Him dey give us spiritual stamina, renew our mind with Him Word, and give us grace to stand when we for don fall. Our confidence no dey inside ourselves but inside the God wey no dey ever lose battle.

Today battles no dey physical, but dem dey real—battles for mind, home, health, finances, and faith. But Jesus talk for John 16:33, “Make una cheer up; I don overcome the world.” We no dey fight for victory; we dey fight from victory.

So make your confidence remain for God. Jeremiah 1:19 talk say enemy fit fight but dem no go win. Isaiah 54:17 talk say no weapon wey form against us go prosper. Luke 10:19 remind us say Christ don give us authority over the enemy. We serve mighty God wey dey fight for us, so we fit pray boldly, live courageously, resist fear, and waka in faith. Nothing fit separate us from God love for Christ Jesus. For Him, we truly be more than conquerors.

·       Which area of your life you need to stop to see yourself as defeated and begin agree with God say you be more than conqueror? 

·       How your present trial fit become opportunity for God to strengthen your faith and shape your character? 

·       Wetin you fit do this week to stand strong for God Word and walk confidently inside the victory wey Jesus don win for you?
