PIDGIN THE WISDOM OF GOD!

 James 1:5 “But if anybody nid wisdom, make e ask God wey dey gi-am to evribody. E nor go sey, “No,” but E go give yu.”

 

Person fit receive the wisdom of God? Bible answer am clear: yes. God no just get all wisdom—na Him dey give am. James 1:5 talk say if anybody lack wisdom, make e ask God, and God go give am plenty without blaming the person. This one mean say wisdom no be for special people alone; na gift wey God dey give anybody wey desire am.

For Bible, we dey see how God dey give men and women wisdom for divine assignment. Nobody famous for wisdom reach King Solomon. 1 Kings 4:29 talk say God give Solomon wisdom, deep understanding, and sense wey full like sand for seashore. Solomon no work for this wisdom; he ask, and God give am. The thing wey he ask please God, and God answer am with abundance.

So, wetin be wisdom?

Wisdom pass knowledge. Knowledge na information—things wey person learn through experience, study, or observation. But wisdom na knowledge wey God don shape. Na the ability to know wetin be truth, wetin right, and wetin dey please God. Wisdom na inner quality wey align our heart, decisions, and lifestyle with God purpose.

For Bible, wisdom still mean skill, ability, and divine intelligence wey Holy Spirit dey give. Na supernatural capacity to apply God truth for practical ways. Na the knowledge of God wey lead person to live godly life wey match God character.

General wisdom—human wisdom—fit grow through learning and experience. But godly wisdom different. You no dey discover am; God dey give am. You no dey develop am; you dey receive am. E no dey come from earth; e dey come from heaven. Godly wisdom na only for person wey seek God and ask for am.

Proverbs 4:5 command us: “Get wisdom.” No be suggestion; na instruction. We suppose pursue wisdom and hold am tight, no forget wetin e teach, no waka comot from the path wey wisdom show. Proverbs 2:4 talk say wisdom na treasure wey person suppose dig out and value pass riches.

Without wisdom, life dey scatter. Human wisdom dey lead person enter confusion, frustration, and unnecessary wahala. E fit make life look unfair and heavy. But the wisdom of God dey stabilize, direct, and empower. E dey bring clarity where confusion dey, peace where anxiety dey, and direction where uncertainty dey.

When we turn our heart to God and allow Him Word guide us, we go begin embrace Him wisdom. True wisdom—godly wisdom—na the “tree of life” for Genesis 3:22. E no dey come from human sense; na Spirit of God dey give am.

Plenty Christians today dey find wisdom from secular sources. Nothing bad to read widely, but secular knowledge no fit produce godly wisdom. Even some books wey “Christian experts” write dey full of secular ideas wey dem baptize with Christian language. The real source of wisdom na the Word of God. Bible na the well wey divine wisdom dey flow from.

To know the will of God na the highest wisdom. God wise pass everybody—infinitely wise—and Him wisdom pass human understanding. Psalm 111:10 talk say fear of the Lord na beginning of wisdom. James 1:5 confirm say na God dey give wisdom. Na Him alone dey teach this wisdom, and He dey give am generously to anybody wey ask.

People wey get God wisdom dey show am for their lifestyle. James 3:13 talk say wisdom dey show through good conduct, humility, and gentle actions. Godly wisdom dey produce purity, peace, mercy, and good fruit. Ecclesiastes 10:10 remind us say wisdom dey bring success—e dey sharpen person, strengthen person, and position person to prosper.

Wisdom no be optional for believer. Na essential. Na compass of the Spirit, voice of God for heart, and light wey dey guide our steps.
