PIDGIN KINDNESS!

Proverbs 19:17 “ Wen yu give sometin to poor pipol, e bi like sey God dey borrow from yu and God go pay yu evritin wey E borrow.

Kindness na wisdom. Kindness na charity. Kindness na generosity. Kindness dey carry reward. Kindness na the kain wisdom wey dey lend give God. Proverbs 19:17 say Heaven dey notice every act of true kindness. Anytime we bless people—especially those wey no fit ever pay us back—God dey see am as service wey we render to Him.

Everyday acts of generosity—whether na money, emotional support, spiritual help, or practical assistance—get eternal value. Smile wey you give person wey don tire, ear wey you lend person wey dey weary, food wey you share with person wey dey struggle, timely message, or quiet prayer—dem fit look small for human eye, but for God side, dem big wellwell. Heaven dey record am, God dey receive am, and Him Word promise reward.

Kindness na wisdom because e dey recognise wetin really matter. Proverbs 11:25 say, “Person wey dey generous go prosper; anybody wey refresh others go get refreshment too.” Micah 6:8 remind us say make we do justice, love mercy, and waka humbly with God. Wise person no dey live only for im own comfort or gain; e sabi say life dey sweet when you dey pour am out in love.

Kindness na charity, and charity na love in action. Na compassion wey show through real care. 1 John 3:17 ask us one serious question: “If person get material things and e see brother or sister wey dey need help but e no pity am, how God love go dey inside that person?” True love no dey sit down. E dey notice need. E dey respond. E dey give. E dey serve. E dey create space for others.

Charity no dey measured by how big the gift be but by how sincere the heart be. Jesus praise the widow wey give two small coins because her offering carry faith, sacrifice, and devotion. Kindness dey turn to charity when e cost you something—time, comfort, resources, forgiveness, patience, or attention.

Kindness na generosity, and generosity na overflow of heart wey God don touch. 2 Corinthians 9:7–8 remind us say God love cheerful giver and e fit make all grace overflow. Generous life no dey dry; grace dey refresh am steadly. Hand wey dey give with obedience dey become channel wey God fit use dey flow.

Generosity no be only money. E include patience for person wey still dey grow, forgiveness for person wey fall, encouragement for person wey dey lose courage, and presence for person wey dey feel alone. Sometimes the most generous thing wey you fit give na attention. For this noisy world, listening well na mercy.

Kindness dey carry reward. Proverbs 19:17 assure us say God Himself dey repay kindness. The reward no dey always come the way we expect, but e no dey ever lost. E fit come as peace for your heart, divine favour, unexpected provision, strength inside weakness, joy wey nobody fit explain, restored relationships, or doors wey no human fit open.

God no dey forget kindness. Hebrews 6:10 say: “God no wicked; e no go forget your work and the love wey you show am as you dey help Him people.” Even when nobody clap for you, God dey see. Even when nobody tell you thank you, God dey remember. Even when people misunderstand your kindness, Heaven dey keep correct record.

Bible full of examples wey show the power of kindness. Ruth show kindness to Naomi, and God reward her with favour, provision, and place inside the lineage of Christ. The Good Samaritan show compassion to stranger. Barnabas encourage the early church. Jesus Himself dey move with compassion—He heal, feed, restore, and welcome people wey others reject.

These examples remind us say kindness dey shift atmosphere, heal wounds, soften hearts, and reveal God nature. One act of kindness fit interrupt despair, restore dignity, and open door for person to meet Christ love. No ever look down on the seed wey you sow when you choose mercy instead of judgement and generosity instead of selfishness.

REFLECTION QUESTIONS

Where God dey invite me this week to show intentional kindness—especially to person wey no fit repay me?

Which small, everyday acts of generosity I fit begin practice to build lifestyle of kindness?

How God don reward me before for acts of compassion, and wetin that one teach me about Him nature?

PRAYER: Lord, make my heart tender and generous like Your own. Teach me to see every act of kindness as sacred offering to You. Help me give with joy, serve with compassion, and love with sincerity. Deliver me from selfishness, indifference, and hardness of heart. Open my eyes to the needs around me, make my life reflect Your grace, and let kindness create ripples of healing, hope, and transformation, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
